Laid back - you can't imagine! True 'dat! If the sun would ever come back out, I would do something with these plants besides walk by them very quickly. Haven't even investigated to see if there's a species tag for the Plectranthus, guess I assumed she was a Mona, but maybe not. Probably just good ol' peat in the pots. Until I look, we can fantasize there's some special, magical juju in there! On our way home we stopped at Gulf Islands park in MS and saw an alligator! Up REAL close, I could have touched it. Forgot to say anything about that the other day. Still haven't seen one in AL, but finally, after living down here 6 yrs, I've seen a live gator.

Noah passed away yesterday. My condolences to the family. this is the latest update. I always send TY cards, even if just a note. It's the way I was brought up. I guess I didn't do a very good job with my 2 daughters. They and others in their 20's and 30's. seem to appreciate gifts and being remembered at birthdays, etc because they do verbally thank everyone but they don't send anything written.My SIL recently sent an engagement gift to our nephew but got no response. She is rather P-O'd and says she plans to boycott the wedding. My guess is she sends gifts to get thank-you notes rather than as a token of her affection for young relatives.

It was a real treat to open the P O Box this morning! I hadn't been there since last week. I got a big handful. Those that sent something extra, thank you! Jasdip, it's not a pain to type each name and address. I copy and paste! If I had to write each one, you wouldn't be able to read it by the time I finished. My hands cramp while writing. I did my parent's cards this year again. Instead of making them, I bought them, typed their names in the label program, printed on clear labels, and stuck them on the inside where you would sign your name. I did the same for the addresses and return addresses. Everyone who gets cards from them know their situation, and that I do the cards. They still appreciate that fact that mom & dad want to send cards. Tami....who still needs to make about 70 more cards to send out!
