I sew little sacks out of cotton fabric and print the contents on cardstock. I use my greeting card program and print out the quarter fold cards so I have 4. I cut them apart and punch a hole in the top and tie it to the bag. FOXY

There's a craft ornament similar to this but not using candy. By similar I mean the final result looks similar. For it use the plastic lids from like a sour cream container or something similar, round with a little depth. Using elmers clear glue and those round colored glass vase fillers, they look like flattened glass marbles, you fill out the inside of the lid with as many of the glass things as will lay flat, then you squirt in as much of the clear glue as possible - allow it to settle and you may need more. Leave it alone for a day to completely dry. Peel off the plastic lid. You can drill a little hole with a drimmel tool or insert a small section of a straw in between the glass beads before adding the glue. I have the directions and some pictures somewhere. The glue comes out clear and all you see are the pretty colors like stained glass. I really like the look of the mints in the picture but I would be very afraid of them attracting bugs and ants plus the sticky factor. When I put little candy canes on the tree l leave the plastic wrapper on.

I glued the Christmas tree down first, then added some Buffalo brand iridescent snow flakes. I covered the lid with gauze and then glued on a pearl trim. I unscrewed the lid and added the pearl with some string to hang the ornament. I have no idea where the snow flakes came from. They were in my craft stock pile so I used them. I can't take credit for this ornament since I found it on Pinterest (there were not instructions though). I have my main craft and my ornament planned, now I just have to plan my menu. I will buy all the chocolate supplies and luckily our cake supply store is having a Customer Appreciation sale on December 4th....just in time.

Thanks everyone! I bought aprons from Michael's but they seemed thin and on the smaller side. I went to a restaurant supply store and bought 12 with 6 in black and 6 in white. They were a bit longer, wider, three pockets at the bottom and adjustable neck. They were $9.45. One lady bought an apron from Amazon and from Kroger. I saw the apron on Pinterest but there were no directions. My gf has a Cricut Maker and she was able to copy everything from Pinterest. She cut out 17 complete sets and that was 2 vinyl rolls each of glitter green, glitter gold, and red. I bought an off-brand that Michaels had on sale for $9,99 a roll. At my work we have the Cricut Easy Press and that is what we used to adhere the vinyl. An iron will work also. We did the whisk first, then the leaves and berries and We. Then I did each side for the words on the bottom. The red vinyl is thinner than the glitter vinyl and we only had one problem with anything going wrong and that was on my apron. Somehow the red WE had gotten messed up, but we heated it from the back, peeled it off and applied another one. At my craft night the ladies know what the main craft is, but don't know what the ornament is. I bought hoops on Amazon, material from Hobby Lobby and a coworker made many different designs on her Cricut. I just grabbed all my greenery from previous years and let everyone decorate. Throughout the 19 years people have come and gone. If someone doesn't come for several years, they end up getting taken off my list and sometimes I add a new friend. My youngest daughter (who just turned 21) finally got to come this year. For the most part its the same people who come year after year. It's really a special time and I know I am very lucky to have friends that continuously want to join me on this night.
