Just want to say thanks for all the Christmas cards...

I still have a few that need to be mailed. Ready to go..but I need more stamps.

I love getting all the cards...and they are so beautiful.

Now that I have most of the shopping done, will re-look at the cards. I agree they were all great and thanks to those who took the time to send them.
Thanks Patti for the cute stocking. It will go on my tree, well, if I put one up, but will be displayed.

Melly, driving a backhoe IS fun! Actually, once you get past the fact that it's hard work, much of farming is fun. I spend all day in the office, wishing I could figure out how to make a living on the farm. I'd way rather clean calf pens and string barbed wire than do research and draft briefs. Sigh. Still, my job pays for my farming, so I guess I'll keep at it. LOL Annie

I want to thank you for the wonderful contribution you made to a post a few days ago -- well, maybe longer than that -- where you talked about tissue culturing and fertilizing. I've gone back to it several times to reread and absorb more. Your comments made me realize at least part of the reason Remember Me is such a disappointment; in an effort to have lots and lots available to sale as a breast cancer memorial, developers probably put way too much nitrogen on the plant. Last year I was given an RM with 5-6 eyes; this year it has only 1. Also made me think that an advantage of buying online is that the plants are usually shipped bare-root. If the plant were a recent tissue culture, the root system would be so tiny no one would ever buy from that supplier. I, for one, am glad you've become part of our world. Nance

You all helped us a great deal planning our modern farm house. We wanted to say thank you for all the help and show some photos of our 2 year adventure that we took with your help. We would be happy to answer any questions. I am sorry the photos are so poor - they are actually inventory photos! I will put a link in for all of them. Here are some things that we love about the place: 1. Hide a Hose central VAC. 2. Blum motorized cabinets. 3. Metal roof. 3. The plan that we developed with the architect. 4. Motorized coupla windows. 5. Liebherr full built in (what a pain and drama but we love it). 6. The kitchen island. 7. Serena Lutron automated shades. 8. Insteon lighting system. 9. Wow, what a find you made in those glass chargers! I can't wait to see photos of your new treasures. You are so right, never to early to think Christmas. At least when shopping ;o) I'm not quite ready to think about the 'work' part of getting it all out! But its the first thing I notice in GW when they put it out. Yes, I wanted to say as well that the cards have been just great and I am so happy that I joined.
We have been having quite a bit of family drama around here this year, almost daily tears, and the cards have really been helping me remember that it IS christmas.

thank you all for joining this year. I enjoy organizing it. And getting all the cards. I have them sent to the PO Box, so there are probably a few I haven't gotten yet, but will make another trip before Christmas to check the box. thank you for all the beautiful cards. It's been a bit hectic here, as I took dad to the ER Friday evening with his defibulator going off and find out he has pnuemonia, so they admitted him. Mom is staying with me for a couple of nights, may swich off with my brother for a few, but we will see. Doesn't matter where she stays, we'll take good care of her where ever she is.

I want to say thank you too. I have never in my life seen so much mail in my little po box. What a joy to open it and see all the familiar names of my friends smiling back at me. I am going to buy some ribbon tomorrow and hand them on my back door. I will take a picture when I get done. I still have cards going out tomorrow. I also ran out of stamps and it snowed here in South Carolina on Friday. So the whole town shut down! Well, not really, but it was a mess and I did not have the right car to be driving in the ice and snow. Hugs to ALL of you.

I ordered my cards early...and then have had issues with the work done on my house...and been pre-occupied with that, and I mailed them late. Sorry to be so late getting them mailed, and thanks to those who sent to me.

I'm adding my thanks here too, I love all of them that I've received, I have them hanging on a shutter that's hung over a closet door.

I so enjoyed the cards! Marilyn, I got yours yesterday, it is adorable.

You all will never know how much your little card meant to me. Each day they lifted my heart during what has been the loneliest Christmas of my life.
