It's good to have you back. I always enjoyed your posts. It's really sad about your Dad, but I'm glad your Mom is finding peace, acceptance and happiness. There's only so much we can do on this earth to keep our loved ones with us.
The past two years have been good for us although there have been health changes for DH and me. I just say, "Hey, our days aren't numbered, only monitored!" LOL! We have a new granddaughter. She's 15 months old and, of course, a real joy, and a cutie, and she's smart, and....well, you know...ha!

I'm just sorry I didn't get in touch with you when I know your last posts were about your folks moving to be with you because your Dad was so ill and had had poor care in the nursing home.

Please keep posting...and I hope your humor is intact because I enjoyed that.

I know it's not good "kitchen table etiquette" to call out a specific person but I didn't think you'd see if I responded to the other thread.

Congratulations on your new little grandbaby!! I bet she is really cute and smart and adorable and all that. What a fun time of year to have a little one around, I hope you get to see her a lot.

Sorry to hear about your and hubbys health issues. Hope you are feeling better. I had a weird dream last night that I had a blood clot behind my left knee and had to be in the hospital on heparin. How bizarre is that, only a nurse would dream something like that. Fortunately me health has been good.

Since my Dad has been gone it's like a dark cloud of sadness is gone. So we really are good. We loved him dearly and did what we could and certainly miss him, but life goes on.
