Christmas card list

I have a question on the Christmas card list. Today I got back a card I sent to Jo Bender. On the envelope there was a sticker that said incomplete address but it is the address on the list.

Has anyone had this problem or is it just my very very small post office. I don't want to send this again & have it sent back to me.

I haven't gotten any back and I sent one to Jo Bender and it has a street addy & a town & state addy complete with a zip code.

I haven't been to the post office in a couple of days, so I don't know if I have gotten any back.

I just checked the list. The only thing I can tell you is to make sure everything is capitalized and all punctuation is in place. I see that what I copy and pasted is not all capitalized and not all punctuated. Maybe that is the problem. You can ask at your post office why it was sent back, as there should be a stamp on it indicating the reason.

I haven't heard from Dances to see if she got hers, but I think the rest of you did. I can't get an email thru to Daisy_3 so I'll be snail mailing her list to her today. Sandy let me know that Daisy's computer died, so at least I can take care of it, knowing what happened. Kath got hers. I copied and pasted everyones address to a list, and all the email addresses to another. For some reason, I couldn't just select all and copy to the address bar. It kept telling me there was an error. So I had to go thru the list and copy and paste each one seperately. Not a big deal, as long as I didn't miss anyone. Of course I did! I apologize again to Kathleen and Pattico! I hope I didn't miss anyone else. You are all very welcome. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tami

I sent mine quite a while ago, and it didn't come back. I did capitalize and punctuate the envelope.

+Mary for some reason I have been having trouble with our new postmistress. I never had a problem before when I used our street address and now all of them had the address blackened out with a marker and Post Box written on it. It could be at the sorting center too though. I live in a town of 40 people. Our Post Office is only open 2 or 3 hours a day. I know what you are talking about. MY PO box is 161 If you wan to send it that way. You do not have to send it though. I know you tried and if you don't want to use another stamp it is OK with me. It was the thought that counted anyway. I am sorry about this. Have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I spoke too soon...my card to Jo came back today--insufficient address.

wanda, that is what my card said. I just sent her another one to the p.o. box.

I did try to send the original one back, told the p.o. it was the correct address.

We shall see which one she gets.

Some times I think that the postal system has temporary help and that can be the problem. I sent my granddaughter a Christmas card....I KNOW her address and it came back saying "No such number". It's crazy.
