What a wonderful surprise

The mailman just brought me a package that has got to be the most beautiful ornament I have ever seen!

It was sent to me from Sandy, with a very lovely card!

It is hand painted from the inside, and it is just beautiful.

What a wonderful, thoughtful thing Sandy.

I was totally surprised and very touched by your kindness.

Thank you so very much!

Cool! Do we get to see it? I've never been able to fathom painting an ornament from the inside, I think that would be so very difficult.

Jenni, it's not surprising that people are nice to you, you are always doing something nice for someone else, so you shouldn't be that surprised. Grateful, yes, shocked, no! lol

LOL Flamingo said about the same as I wrote to Jenni!!

I am so thankful that it got there in one piece!! I wish that I could take credit for painting it, but I couldn't paint stick people! LOL I just thought it was so very pretty!!!

The mini. I do not feel much remorse for it, to be honest because it is quickly deteriorating and losing the "shop quality" going to "garden quality". and plus, they're everywhere. so if I wanted another of this tree rose, I could get it easily :P

Oh I have been blessed by the plants I got from the swap at my house( Early Spring Treasure Coast). My husband kept ooing and ahing over the cherries jubiliee allamanda he saw at Butterfly World and I said I think we have that at home from the swap. It was all he talked about so i let him choose the place of honor to plant it.Thanks Ginibee, also for the pereskia bleo which is a rich orange blooming beauty and for firespike of all colors,a fishtale fern, pink crinums, Jay gave hubs a banana(thriving) and the giant elephant ears and they ARE happily residing out front beneath an oak.Jay and Bernie brought T-maters that we ate and saved seeds from,yes they are planted! I believe the cerues is from Linda,I also got pink salvias ,hollies and flower seeds ,tiles and seashells and so many cool things. I would like to name all the plants but I can say I do not remember all their names so I guess we need another treasure Coast Swap this spring so you can tell me what the names are.LOL I recieved so many plants i cannot remember who gave me what,it was a blur but an exciting blurrr My favorite blossoms are the friendships! Bernie ,Jay, Linda and Ted, Ginny,Kathy and Ralph, Vin+ Graham, Gayle & co. Marion and Iris ,Kat and friend Bill and Linda who am I forgetting? Anyway Thank You Thank You Thank You all who came shared ate and swapped! It was awesome,thanks to Marion for suggesting it and helping over the phone.

Thank you Mike!! I'm pretty shocked the colors are as fun as they are! I try to buy seeds from colorful plants and from Brad's or someplace with lots of quality plumies to pollinate. The next seedling to bloom gave me a tiny sneak preview last night-I could see rosy pink, white and a vivid yellow! Should be interesting! Kim thank you! I'm really excited about possibly being able to register one of them, that would be so incredibly cool!! Kenny thank you so much! I feel like I lucked out with these, I just love them! K, haha! That would be really cool to see what new & exciting varieties we can all grow! I have certainly been looking at seedlings differently now myself! Many thanks Laura!! I appreciate that so much!!- it is the most fun because you all are so nice in sharing in my excitement! I'm so happy with them, it sure makes growing them feel worthwhile, so rewarding!

I could not get a good picture of this on the tree. I resorted to taking it outside.
It does not do it justice....it really is beautiful.

Well....shoot my glue gun can do that...no problem! That is really awesome! I saw a man do that at a festival we went to a few years ago, it was such tedious work. That is really nice, love it!

It really is a beautiful ornament! That was so sweet of Sandy and I can't think of anyone more deserving than Jenni!

Here's a site to see more.....beautiful! My sister in law bought me really pretty bottle in China last year, she watched the man paint it. She said some of his brushes had only one thin bristle. I love it...what talent!

It's gorgeous, Jenni and Sandy, and I can't imagine the amount of work involved. You would have to paint backwards, in terms of steps, to have the outlines on first, then the details and THEN the big blocks of color. I wouldn't be able to do that.

The pictures really do not do it justice. I cannot imagine someone being able to do this.
And Flamingo, I would bet you could do a very good job at one of these.
You are very, very talented and I think you could do it!
It really is just beautiful.
