Finally watched the 2nd half last night. I was glad to see the Godfather get blind sided... always like a good blindside! lol I think the remaining casts are a lot better physically matched now that the big guys are all out. Gabby bugs me - always crying over something stupid. Carl didn't talk to me wah wah wah. There's Christian comforting her and making sure she is ok. And the previews showing she wants to get him out? OMG! That made me so mad! What a traitor. I always like when a STRONG player wins - the ones who ride coattails and get to the end make me so mad. Gabby would be one of those. I hope her plan gets back to Christian and backfires on her!

My only hope for redemption of this season is if one of the players from the Edge gets back into the game and wins it, which I sincerely hope happens. Aside from Rick, all of the remaining players are followers and not doers. There have been a few sparks from some of the players, but the play has been boring and predictable. What the heck did Aurora give her extra vote to Ron for anyway? That was the stupidest move. If the Edge didn't exist, it would be so predictable that the girls would pick off the guys and we would be left with these women who have no spark or gumption. Aurora is a challenge beast, I will give her that. Just a disappointing season to me.

That was crazy! Why give up your immunity idol & trust anyone near the end? Gabler is the only one who doesn't "need" the money....but....he's smart and playing a really good game. Jesse may "need" the money, for his family...but that is too villian for the jury to back him. Karla is playing hard. I watched Amazing Race. I usually fall asleep, so I've missed a lot of it. That was a good WIN!

It's my favorite show, I follow the races and the discussions on a travel forum; but couldn't help stickin' my head in here. As I said to posters on the other forum, I thought I knew who was going to win, but when that van turned into the driveway I wasn't sure! Is it going to be the boys or Meghan and Cheyne???? Very exciting, and I admit I had some tears in my eyes.

bigack - I agree, Wayne Newton looks nothing like I remember him. Why didn't he just age gracefully, or maybe it wasn't a pretty site. But then again, he DID look weird tonight.
