Go to your homepage (or whatever they call it --the page that has 'your' personal information not your friend's updates). Copy that link for her, or she can copy her link for you. Your name and probably a number will be part of the link. If you don't have your settings set too privately hopefully that should work.

News stories as opposed to the main postings part of your page (which is called the news feed)? Try doing a search for Facebook Purity. It is a FB add-on that lets you choose what shows up on FB. For instance I block trending topics, sponsored stories, suggested groups, and recommended pages. It lets me see more of what I want to see and less of what I am not interested in.

"Snowfakes" privacy has to be set to public (globe) which really means no privacy! If a friend likes or comments on anything with the "globe" icon on it (which means it's "public") then it will appear in your newsfeed. If you do the same thing above, then all of your friends will see what you like or comment on in their newsfeed because it's "public" (has "globe" icon). Instead, if you or your friend like or comment on something with the "two heads" icon on it which means "friends" then it will NOT appear on your friend's feed (or your feed). You will see the "globe" or "friends" icon right after the date and time of the post. **To avoid clogging up my friends' newsfeeds with stuff, I just avoid liking or commenting on anything with the "globe" (public) icon. When friends clog up my feed, I unfollow them. We remain friends, but they never appear in my feed. I place them in the "acquaintance" category already set up in your account and go to that list if I want to see their newsfeeds. This is the only way I can easily see them since I unfollowed them. Hope this helps. Can be very confusing! Some people like or comment on too much "public" stuff so I just have to unfollow them and place them on the "acquaintance" list.
