First check to determine if there are unnecessary applications running in the background. Then I suggest you use the free REVO to remove unwanted applications. Besides the traditional uninstaller REVO goes deeper into the system for unwanted orphan files and entries. Note: In the registry report if you are not sure of the offered entry(ies) ignore them. Free CCleaner would be a viable next approach, and if you are somewhat experienced free Advanced System Care too. Note: If you use the registry tool the same disclaimer as above applies. Finally an error-checking followed by a defragmentation. If you use the Windows utility fine, but you may wish to use the free Defraggler. I am certain you will see an improvement. DA

I don't do it that way I have an SD card that I load all my books on from my pc which I have in epub format then I just stick the SD card in the lookbook and it reads them from the SD card I can load a LOT of books on one SD card. I have found that is the best and easiest way to do it. Now I have used the wifi on the lookbook and downloaded directly from the kobo bookstore to it and it saves them right to the library. I am not sure why you have it saving them to docs, what format do you have your books in? should be epub for the lookbook.
