I think there is gonna be a big discussion, tomorrow, over Survivor tonite.

All I can say is wow!

I didn't have a problem with the way Russell plays so much. It's always been how my dh has said he would play the game. Russell does have a legitimate strategy. However, the one thing he hasn't realized yet is that at the final tribal council, he has to get votes in order to win. I think he has offended too many people along the way to win. I don't like Russell personality wise because of his sore loser attitude after last season's game. He thinks he just got a bad jury last season, but he didn't. The jury doesn't have a set of rules they are required to use to vote. Strategically, he has had some brilliant plays, but he also hacked off anyone able to vote for him along the way. If they hate him too much to vote for him, then he legitimately loses. I don't think Russell's looks are really what is holding him back. I believe that good looking people who do bad things in real life are sometimes hated more than ordinary people. Russell's strike against him is that he actually looks like a troll so he is easy to categorize when people want to make fun of him. Rupert isn't physically attractive either. His first move was one that everyone loved so no one made fun of him. He was considered the lovable giant.

OK. I admit it. I am a secret wannabe moveaholic. I am an Air Force brat who moved every two years while growing up and came to love it. I crave change just for the sake of it. New views, fresh perspectives, wide-open opportunities. Alas. I am married to (and in love with) a content-where-he-hangs-his-hat man. So... I paint rooms, make drapes, work on many projects at once, refinish furniture, create oil paintings. But, I do not feel totally satisfied with where we live. I want to move. The house we are living in is 10 feet away from our neighbor's house---we live in a historic district in a small, Southern city. I CRAVE a view and a lot more privacy. So, yes, cricket0828, I think it is fine to move if you are bored, if you can afford the move and your DH is in agreement. paint chips, you came very close to how I feel when you said, "Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that sometimes you just have to let life pull you along for a ride."

Love the Butler's pantry off the kitchen which also has the all freezer unit, 8 drawers and 2 cabinets - tons of storage Love the big all freezer and all fridge units although not the brand originally purchased. Love the filtered hot and cold water dispenser. Love the sink so deep you can't see the dirty dishes unless you're right on top of it. With a dishpan also makes a great bath tub for the puppy LOL Love having 2 Dishwashers and love that they are SOOOO quiet Love my floating bar and that my kids can talk to me while doing homework and I'm making dinner LOVE having a computer in the kitchen (Love my new MacGourmet program too) Love the Magic corner units - I have so much extra space Love the toekick drawers Love my can drawers Love all my drawers - the 2 36" drawers are amazing for storing pots and baking stuff Love my pot rack in the cupboard Love having no smells - yeah venthood Love the pull through trash which opens from either side of the peninsula Love my WORKING Double Ovens Love my pull out pantry Most of all LOVE the ease with which it all works together One year later what I wish I had done differently: * Put one DW closer to the prep area instead of having both in the clean up area * Put in a back splash instead of waiting - it may never get done * Put in a whole house water filter instead of just the drinking water * Sacrificed one upper cabinet for bigger windows. I had so little storage before and I was so scared of not having enough in this kitchen that I went with storage over a window. Even though the window I have now is bigger than the old one, a bigger one would have been even nicer * Chosen a better brand of fridge and freezer. Our GE Monogram all fridge freezer unit will shortly be replaced with Miele units

I'm actually hoping that Sugar wins. I mean... think about it. The game is to "outwit" and "outplay," right? Well, I think Bob is great, and he's my second choice, but last week (geez, just a few nights ago, actually), it was really dumb of him to admit to Kenny that the "immunity idol" that Corrine had was fake. There was no reason to give up that tidbit of information. Bob should have turned the tables and "demanded" to know from Kenny why he had flipped with his vote. If Sugar hadn't gone to Bob to tell him that Kenny and Crystal were planning on blindsiding him, Bob would be gone. What Sugar did was brilliant -- she saved Bob, because she believes the "good guy" should win and she was sick of Kenny's lies and manipulations; and she saved Matty, too. She wanted Matty gone, but she didn't like the way that Crystal was yelling at Matty after she got back from the reward -- as Sugar said, there was no reason to kick him when he was down. Sugar is a LOT smarter than people give her credit for.

Hahahahahaha I loved it! I wish the one would have changed their mind. The "Other" one? Thank God in heaven that poor excuse of a person is gone. Next week looks like extreme backstabbing kicks in. It will be great.

Arrrrrrgggggg....they didn't show Survivor in our area because they though we all should watch Creighton's basketball game instead.

Two of us in this house were not happy.

Is there any place online we can watch it?

I had a band parent meeting..so missed it too Patti..
Usually you have to wait about 24 hours for it to be "online" or in my case "on demand" with comcast.

I found it on I think CBS.com (if that is the station they are on) But it didn't work very well. I miss lots of it...because it kept freezing up...

I got to see all the bawling and I got to see the end.

That was enough for me.

But why was the girl on the jury crying?

I cannot believe she took the reward....so selfish. I cannot believe she said she has no regrets. She will.. given enough time to mature...because she has a LOT of growing up to do!

The crying and disgust from the jury was, IMO, due to the reason deemarie stated. How dare someone give up the spot and quit, when the jury members sooooo wanted to continue.

They definately should not be allowed to be on the jury. What must it be like in the Ponderosa, where people stay together?? any drama that adds to people talking, is good for the show and ratings.

I think it was a good show and I am happy to see those two out of contention for the prize...Naonka especially ..she should have had her "but" kicked off a long time ago...What a selfish, greedy, little creature she is.

Hmmmm, they not only don't have to spend anymore time 'surviving', BUT also get to have a free 10 day 'vacation' at the Ponderosa where all their creature comforts will be met. And on top of that, they get to help decide the fate of the winner this year!!

We saw Survivor infamy last night. Kelly purple still has time to grow up and be productive. Naonka is an omerosa and won't be hirable outside of reality TV needing a villain.

I think that they should be sent home immediately. No Ponderosa, no jury, no final show appearance. If you quit you are done and have nullified your contract.

And frankly, I think I would have wanted to punch Naonka. She is beyond nasty.

They always give a car away when it gets down to the end.....so a car AND a million dollars are still at stake for people that are IN the game!

I think Jeff was royally POed at them. Quitters. And Na saying she has no doubt she could have won it all. She would have received NO votes. She is a miserable wench of a woman with NO morals. Justifies everything she does as being a strong woman. I want Fabio or the old broads to win. Didn't like Jane at first but now I'm kinda rooting for her. The conditions must be rough, but hey as one guy said..it's the freaking RAIN forest . What did they expect..Palm Beach?

Wonder if there is a complaint site we can all send our thoughts on letting the quitters be on the jury.

Lynn, I think they should be sent right home too. If they quit, they quit the game - they shouldn't have a say in who wins at the end.
