I'm sure if I watched something so ridiculous as Survivor I would be sitting, probably in a stupor unable to stand.
I saw part of one a few weeks ago and the clueless idiots had burned their camp. LOL at that stupidity.

We all have hobbies -- some practical and some not so practical. I enjoy Survivor because it is "people watching". These personalities or some variation usually exist here in our everyday lives. Stupid or not, it's kind of fun to see action, reaction, and a few glimpses into what they were thinking. How would I react in a similar situation?

It's pretty interesting to see how people have plans and then those plans change as "life" begins to move on. They all come in with grand game plans..and a little "concious" of the cameras..but then suddenly it really does get to be about ..Outwit, outplay, outlast...and true personalities show forth.

If you don't watch it, why even open this thread and then leave a disparaging remark to all those who love the show? That's uncalled for. I love to people watch, and this is people watching to the nth degree.

Funny thing. Original post sits for 3 &1/2 hrs and not one comment. I post my joking response and then people want to bark off at my opinion. Opinion of the show NOT Glenda as I think she is uniquely kewel.
Well I guess to be the winner of $1Mil on a fake survival show I would stab allies and cohorts in the back, use the poor me pity me and do anything to win too! Mean while I still think it is a ridiculous show full of silly drama and shallow stupid phony people. If you like it, fine watch it and enjoy. I am allowed my opinion and I am allowed to offer it.

I loved it!! The faces on a couple of the people when the names were being read, priceless! They were clueless. I'm o.k. with the one sent home. Out of the ones left, there's only one I really, really DON'T want to win.

Yeah I was kinda clueless, too. Had to watch the end to see who voted for whom.

Lil, they have professionals on the show, not shallow people. Maybe a couple. An ER Dr. was on this season. Just an example of the many smart people they have.

It's a show you need to watch from the beginning. It takes a few weeks to "know" each Survivor, then you're hooked.

Takes all kinds.....I'm not talking about Survivor but about the board here.

I watch Survivor and enjoy it....but then I am a Big Brother fan too and I kind of enjoy the couch stupor part....gives me time to collect my thoughts.

Love Survivor and Big Brother . . . this was a good show, but it makes me mad that Kelly and Naynutka were even allowed to be on the jury. When they decided to QUIT . . . they should have been OUT . . . and off the show completely. Bring back the two who were voted off before the actual jury selection started - they deserve it more than the quitters!
It makes me crazy, watching K&N all happy and sassy in the bleachers after they walked off . . .

Count me in as another who enjoys her nightly "couch stupor". For a brief moment in time it takes me away from all the stresses and drama in my daily life. Some people read, some exercise, some eat, I watch tv.

I hope last night was a wake up call to Fabio. It ticks me off that Nayaonka and Kelly are in the jury. Na had a smug look on her face as she walked in.

I have watched from the beginning and make it a rule, no phones, no visitors, no interruptions when it's on...I even had my hubby watching it this year, because of J. Johnson...I get mad, I yell at the TV and at times, can't figure out how "stupid" some can be, but I love, love the show....
The one thing I don't understand, why doesn't Jane give her face a good scrubbing, lol.....I love, that the 2 older women are still around and hope they go to the end.....

We watch it every year as well, we love it and have a Survivor Party for the reunion! (so I guess we are all in a stupor by then) Very rude.

DH and I have never missed a season of Survivor. I love the human interactions; DH loves the challenge games. It's the only hour of TV we seldom miss, and we call it our 'date' night. We enjoy it!

If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you don't watch it, don't feel you have to make a comment about it.

Some reality shows are more interesting to me,than others. This is a pretty good one.
