Wednesday night! DH is on vacation, and I worked late. He's responsible for cooking this month, and he does not have much of a repertoire. So he ordered pizza.

Last time I cruised.

There is only one place in my little town that makes pizza, and I ordered one about 2 months ago. We were so disappointed. It only had pepperoni around the edge and none on the rest, so I haven't ordered again.

But a slice right now sure would be good.

I buy the premade pizza shells and add some sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni and we have one for lunch sometimes.

My GF and I are supposed to go out to our favorite pizza place next week if the weather doesn't turn bad. We've been going there since we were pre-teens - so about 40 years now! They still have the best pizza!

Having some at friends' house tomorrow. Will also get our dog fix.

It's been a couple of weeks ago. I went to Valentino's after taking my car to the shop to be fixed (after meeting the deer). I took a girlfriend with me, because she doesn't drive. She doesn't get out much unless her kids pick her up to get groceries or something. Whoopee. They've got good food.

I have it every couple of weeks. Have started making it myself from pre-made bread dough that I buy at the supermarket. Pizza is one of my favorite meals.

I have had so much pizza in the last few weeks that I am tired of it. Just before my bunion surgery, I stocked my freezer with frozen pizzas.

Yesterday for supper. It was good too.

DH and I had a frozen one last week: Gino's Deep Dish Sausage Pizza. It was very good. Add some salad...you're done. These are something like 32 oz. - under $10 at the grocery.

Last week. I use Pillsbury pizza dough and spread it in a 15x10 pan for thin crust. I prebake the dough 5 minutes, then add the sauce, pepperoni (Boar's head makes the best), cooked mild Italian sausage, and cheese. Then I cut it in half and bake one half and cool then freeze the other to bake later. It's yummy!

I cannot bring myself to buy a pizza the prices are outrageous and the pizza sometimes isn't worth it. I make my own pizza dough or I buy the dough from the the bakery roll it out, put on tomato sauce and any toppings you desire. It is sooooo goood and very economical considering the dough cost 1.00 for 1 lb. makes 1 large square or 2 round pizzas.

We do the busy family thing and order pizza about once/week. Though it changes with the season, there is always one day each week that is routinely the busy night, when everyone has to be somewhere after school and I am in the car not the kitchen. ;o) That usually ends up being our pizza night, delivery or I pick it up on the way home.

I take my grandkids for pizza every Friday night. Tonite is an exception - Mother was making them tacos!

My grandson and I had pizza last week at Pizza Hut..Yummy!!

1 slice of cheese pizza yesterday in a food court. Before that 1 slice of with everything under the sun on it about 6 month earlier. Love pizza, but as diabetic it don't love my glucose tests.

LOL - one is on the way tonight. Bacon, onions and green olives on half - not sure what my husband ordered for his half. We are puppy sitting a friends lab tonight and taking it easy after a week of work.

I would love one right now!! Pizza is my favorite food!

It's been a few months. With just my husband and me here now, we don't order it anymore. He likes stuff I don't like, and I like stuff he doesn't. 2 pizza's are way to much for us. We pick up chicken or fish and chips instead.

Tonight! LOL Dominos has their large sized pizzas for $6.99 for the next couple of weeks. We got a Supreme, thin and crispy crust and it was $7.51 and it was great!

I do not work for Dominos, but I DID approve this message.

We love Papa Murphy's Pizza. You bring it home and cook it yourself. Really very good, we get the 4 meat pizza family size 16" for $13.99 with a $2 coupon.

Tonight! Every Friday night is pizza night. We go to different places, sometimes get frozen or I make it so we have quite a variety. I don't know when we started this tradition, but it has been going on for years. My son loves it and doesn't like it if something comes to change the pattern.

Sniff! I love Pizza, not on my diet though. So, we have Pizza about 3-4 times a year.

The last time I had REAL pizza was in the Vatican City in Italy. Best I ever had, but it makes the pizza we get here dissapointing to say the least. My brother and his daughter came to visit about a month ago and we ordered from the only place that delivers around here. Papa John's. I can only say one word YUCK!

We have pizza quite often...it's something easy when our "gang" gets together unexpectedly.

We have nights where we get together and play board games...that's a good pizza night.

Plus everynow and then I make homemade pizza.

Tortilla pizza

1 flour shell
spread Ragu pizza sauce on it
add browned ground beef
green peppers
onions
black olives
Whatever you like
Cover with Mozzarella cheese
Put in oven.

(I get the larger Tortilla's for burritos)

These are good.

I buy the frozen ones on sale and keep them in the freezer for when we need a quick meal. We eat them about 3-4 times a month. I rarely order them from the pizza places. We may do that 5-6 times a year.

We'll order if some of the kids are here. Poppa Murphey's. We split one the other day at Newt's and I believe it was the best one I've ever eaten. It would never be my first choice, but DH and I weren't very hungry and were w/ some of our children. I've made the homemade kind years ago. I only did that once!

I had wanted some last night but we were expecting high winds and snow, nothing came our way.

So, tonight I am going to order early for a pizza and some garlic bread. I so want some. I barely rarely order pizza.

I usually make my own but that is expensive by the time you buy the ingredients, cheese, the pizza box to make the pizza dough.

Every Friday I make two large pizzas from scratch..my middle son is my soux chef...
we even make the sauce from scratch with a can of tomato sauce and our blend of seasonings and a dash of balsamic.

We had a pizza party tonight after we closed the restuarant where DH and I volunteer. It was our way of saying Merry Christmas to all the employees. It was good too. :o)
