That is so adorable!! I saw this twice yesterday on tv...(not the entire video but the important part) and I honest to gosh teared up at that sweet little girl and her "I missed you Daddy"!! BOTH times!! (I've heard that line myself from a certain little girl) This lil Kensey will always believe Santa can make her wishes come true now!
Its a true tear jerker, but a wonderful one!

That IS amazing! Thank you so much for posting it. Someone posted a youtube link to a Britain's Got Talent video in another forum yesterday and I couldn't get it to work. I bet it was to Susan. And, after listening to Susan a couple of times, I did a search on Elaine Paige (who Susan wants to be as successful as) and Elaine is much prettier but you know what? Her rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" is not as beautiful as Susan's. Or at least I didn't think so. Not nearly. And speaking of Paul Potts, he's another that takes your breath away. I still go back and listen to his original YouTube videos from "Britain's Got Talent" once in awhile. And I'm not even an opera fan! You have got to be kidding. Sorry, I know there must have been all types of physical amd psycho pain going on. But can't stop laughing. Although I was waiting for you to continue the story with having to call 911 and an experience in the emergency room. Thankfully that didn't happen. I'll be sharing this story for a very long time. Can you even walk now? And on a serious side, make sure you use an antibiotic or something to soothe this. Nothing with perfumes, etc. in it. I'd hate to hear something worse evolved.

OMG! You have to wonder what goes through that lion's mind. Obviously, he remembers something... or the smell, maybe. Lucky people to be able to have that relationship with that enormous animal. Also, it's amazing to see his "wife" be so tame around them.

Beautiful! One of our young friends is leaving for Afghanistan in Feb. His 6 year old son is having a very hard time dealing with it. He doesn't want his Daddy killed.

I don't know how military families explain things to their little ones. Breaks my heart!

It's so touching.

I don't mean to be a Scrooge or a "wet blanket," but I think it would be kinder to children to give them the news a little in advance, even a few hours, rather than have it just be a big surprise all at once.

I'm not speaking for socks, but I do agree with her. I think adults understand the concept of a surprise and can enjoy it after the moment of shock. But children, especially small ones, may be more impacted by the shock. What's a cute surprise to us may be a traumatic incident for them. Even for adults a positive change can be as stressful as a negative one, if you believe the stress scales that psychologists use.

I've seen this twice on TV and it's soooo very touching and heartbreaking at the same time.

Socks, I understand your point also...a lot of emotion for those little ones to handle sometimes.
