Christmas Swap Package

This has been a real trip for me. I got all of Cheryl's things finished up and all packaged up. I was making her address label and suddenly remembered two items I didn't' get in the box. I untaped the box, put the items in and retaped ready to go to the post office. Well, I had picked up a nice box at church to use. I get to the post office and they tell me they can't send this box due to some lettering on the outside. Soooo, I repackaged the box "again" and sent it on it's way. Now, I just hope it gets there. They do say third time is charm so I guess we will see.. I really enjoyed putting the box together for Cheryl. I told her about my trials to get it to her. Also warned her that nothing will jump out and scare her to death when she opens it. Off to another project!!

I had a similar experience with a box just last month. Try & recycle and it gives you a headache! lol Tis the season! :)

My box to Phyllis in Minnesota went out today and like you, on to another project! :)

I didn't have all the troubles Susie had, but I couldn't get USPS on line to take her address so I had to take it to the post office for postage and didn't get my online discount :(
I'm sure Susie was worth the few extra cents !!! LOL
Now I hope it makes the trip without being dropped or thrown!

Like everyone else, I'm on to another project also!

Michelle, you're just having way too much fun, LOL. The martini glasses sound great and I want to see those cruets. Diana, get a disposable camera and when you get pictures developed you can get a CD with the pictures on it. Load those onto the computer and then you can put them on photobucket or a similar site or send them by email to one of us and we can post them. At least, I'd try to post them, I don't make any rash promises, LOL. Annie

Just received my package today. Thanks so much Becky! Don't feel bad about it being late; it happens. I just worry about packages because I have had some experiences with them not making it. I love the little blanket (my boys have already claimed it for now, but I'll get it back...LOL) The cookies were so good. They won't last long. My dad started getting into my candy as soon as I opened it (it was delivered to his house next door). I have to admit, I was a little confused as I was looking at all the things in the box. I couldn't figure out why you would send those things. Then I found the card in the bottom. That explained it all...LOL I love the fabric. Definately my kind of fabric..hehe This may sound bad, but I'm glad you tried a bag before me. I never would have known what would help me out..LOL Now I have all the good stuff before I screw mine up..LOL I probably won't have time to make one for a few weeks, but it just gives me time to find just the right pattern. I'll post a pic as soon as I can. It just takes forever to upload photos with dial up. Thanks again, I love it all. Lynette

Thanks Karen !! The package arrived today and it is loaded with really great stuff! I can never have too many papers and your taste is really nice! I promise to use the vellum - I have never tried it but am anxious to see what I can do. The collection of stickers is great - some humorous and some more elegant. Please tell your son that the tiny snowflakes were my favorites!! In fact, I looked (but did not buy) the same punch just today. I really enjoyed the swap and am looking forward to more! I'm sorry you didn't get your discount. I don't know why this address thing happens. We have lived here 45 years. We receive boxes from time to time that are so marked up with different addresses it is a wonder they even get here. They have even called here to variety our address. I just don't get it. I thought the zip code system was suppose to correct all of that. We live in a small rural area right off of a main state highway.
