Fudge recipe...I think it was Mush's...anyone have it?

It was a microwave fudge made with the marshmallow creme and choc chips

I've looked and looked for it.

There are a ton online...but I always had success with that one....and I'd like to have it again..

Here is a very easy one, I'll look for the other, if I have it in my notebook I'll get back to you.

2 Minute Microwave Fudge Recipe #43703
All I have to say, is that I'm obsessed with this recipe... I've never tasted better fudge! It's so good... although it's VERY sweet and VERY rich! Prep time includes chill time. 36 pieces

1 lb powdered sugar
2/3 cup cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1.Sift powdered sugar, cocoa, and salt into a 1 quart microwave safe bowl.
2.Stir in milk and vanilla.
3.Mix well.
4.Place butter on top.
5.Microwave on high, 2 minutes.
6.Beat with wooden spoon until smooth.
7.Stir in nuts (OPTIONAL).
8.Spread in 8 X 8 X 2 inch baking pan.
9.Chill about 1 hour or until firm.
10.Cut into 36 pieces.

Fantasy Fudge

Yes, this is the original Fantasy Fudge recipe from the back of the Kraft Marshmallow Creme jar. We'll never know why they changed the recipe on us, but we've preserved the recipe for you right here.

Makes about 117
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12-oz. (340 g) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 7-oz. (198 g) jar Kraft Marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Traditional method:
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2-1/2 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling bail, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate till melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts & vanilla beat till blended. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Let cool and cut into 1-inch squares.

Microwave method:
Microwave margarine in 4-quart microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) 1 minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well. Microwave on HIGH 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil, stirring after 3 minutes. Mix well; scrape bowl. Continue microwaving on HIGH 5-1/2 minutes; stir after 3 minutes. Stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cool at room temperature; cut into squares. Makes 3 pounds.

Note: Can be made in a smaller pan for thicker squares (yield will be reduced).

Penuche Fudge (from the Betty Crocker Cookbook) 1 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 cup granulated white sugar 2/3 cup whole milk 2 tbsp. dark corn syrup 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 - 3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, if desired Line a large loaf pan with heavy foil long enough to hang over the edges a bit, and butter it lightly. Cook sugars, milk, corn syrup, and salt in a heavy 2 qt. saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Cook, stirring occasionally, to 234 degrees on a candy thermometer (or to "soft ball" stage). Remove from heat. Add the butter. Cool to 120 degrees without stirring. Add vanilla. Beat vigorously and continuously by hand (wooden spoon is best, but a silicone spatula works okay) for 5 to 10 minutes, until the candy is thick and no longer glossy. Quickly stir in the nuts. Spread in the buttered loaf pan. Cool completely, remove from the pan using the foil to lift with, and cut into 1" squares. Store in an airtight container. My husband makes this every year. One of his tips is: DON'T DOUBLE THE RECIPE - unless you want to make caramels instead of fudge. Jim, you can share the penuche with me, one of my favorite fudges is Ann T's maple walnut, yum. Even my "quick" fudge is brought to a soft ball stage and then chips and marshmallow cream is added. I don't care for the condensed milk and chips version of candy, it's too sweet and the texture is different, mor elike truffle filling than fudge. The only flavor I really don't care much for is peanut butter fudge, although I love peanut butter, go figure. Boo, I don't care for candied cherries at all, but are the green maraschino cherries I see the same as the red ones, or are they a different flavor? To each their own, I know Alexa greatly enjoys cocktails, and I haven't found a liquor yet that doesn't make me gag, and she doesn't care for Sherry's spinach brownies, which I think are delicious. And I still think a martini is gin and vermouth, not all kinds of flavored concoctions, but that comes from years of owning a bar. So, she can have Rachel Ray's fudge and I'll have all of Ann T's Maple Walnut, and never the twain shall meet.
