Great cards! I can so relate to how many shots you need to take to get "the one" for your Christmas/holiday card. Before DD started college last year, every year I tried to shoot DD with the dogs. At one point I was shooting 3 dogs with DD. That was fun. Trying to get just one picture that makes the most of all subjects is a tall order. I would shoot about 20 pictures and then view them on the computer. Shoot more, repeat, until DD pronounced "enough already mom". Trying to shoot more would not result in anything better, as DD was sick of posing and the dogs can only eat so many treats in one sitting. LOL This year it will be just the dogs. Glad you started this thread, I need start working on our holiday photo this coming week.

Noah passed away yesterday. My condolences to the family. this is the latest update. oh my bestyears, I can't believe how calm your (very attractive) children look next to the maniacal looking cat. I'm afraid of being scratched just looking at that picture. Thank you to everyone for sharing your cards, there are so many wonderful photos of kids & animals. I probably mentioned this before but my sister received a photo card from her friends, just the adults and not the kids or pets. They wrote something clever about how everybody has cute kids and pets but how are the adults holding up? It was funny and pretty bold, since after a certain age many of us aren't willing to share photos of greying, aging selves with old high school friends.

calpat, was hopeing if you visted some of these sites it would maybe come back to you, on a video clip I saw where they used some kind of of a heat gun to move the wax around after applying and also a tool like a wood burner to draw with (I think) useing crayons was probley the cheap way of doing it, sounds like it could be fun, I will ask and see if I can get info, if you figure it out please post and let me know. I think it was on CD where they took crayons and rubed on a hot iron useing differnt colors at the same time then wiped it on paper for a desine. maybe thats how you start, oh I remenber they covered the iron with foil frist, so as not to ruin your good iron!
