I can relax now!! Landlord JUST called me to say they won't be selling!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS!~

That's not to say that could change at any minute if someone offers them the $$$$.

Things went great this morning. They used 3 eggs and froze 4. We have never had enough to freeze before. She has to stay down for 48 houres and then still take it easy after that.. They will do a pregnancy test in 2 weeks. she is such a sweetheart and a wonderful mom to our 4 year old grandaughter. Our son takes extra good care of mom and Rachael, too. He is so helpful in all ways. Such a loving man... Susie

What wonderful news! I’ve been wondering how she was doing. As I’d mentioned on your last post about her, my own Emily was born 2 months prematurely and at 2lbs 14oz. She spent her first two months in the neonatal unit and came home a whopping 5 lbs 4 oz. She just turned 24 y/o a couple of weeks ago and is acing grad school for clinical psychology. I wish your friend’s daughter an equally wonderful life!

Whew! The pressure is off...for now. Maybe you'll want to look around a little after the holidays to see what other rentals are available because it sounds like it's only a matter of time before your landlord finds a buyer.

That's great news, Jamie, but like Chisue just said, she can't be trusted anymore, so I'd start looking, too. Or maybe she'd sell it to you?

Ohhh I definately don't trust her. We're only planning on staying 5 more months anyway. Soon as son graduates high school, and he's off to college, we're soooo outta here!

Hooray! I remember how annoying it was to have our apartment up for rent the month before we were leaving. Our landlord would give us 30 minutes notice when he was bringing prospective tenants over. Sometimes he called while we were eating dinner!
