Yes, they included the plumbing fixtures as well. It's all set to be installed. I just need to get the pieces necesarry for adding a shower with it. This is my only bathroom at the cottage and while a tub is great, a shower is a necessity! I did see that the feet were another $1700!! That's insane. What I think happened is that the owners donated it to the church so they could take the tax donation then it was the church selling it either through their rummage sale or via craigslist. I happened to find it on craigs list and had no idea what I was really looking at. I had no idea bathtubs could be so insanely expensive. I've never redecorated a house before so I was totally clueless. Susan

If you know you'll actually use the pieces in a set -- or if you'll keep what you'll really use and give away the rest -- then a set can be a very good deal. But if you buy it as a "great deal" and then realize you don't have a big pot you want for boiling pasta water or that you want a tiny pot for melting butter or chocolate or such, then it's not such a great deal. Personally, I don't believe any cookware material is ideal for all kinds of cooking; a clad product like All-Clad or Multiclad probably comes closest to "universal" in my view, though that kind of cookware usually comes at a price.

@Diana Bier Better buy a container full of filament bulbs to last you for the rest of your life. Re: the article - i've legit never seen someone have so many issues with lightbulbs. I have to assume they're only buying the cheapest stuff they can find. I'm pretty fussy about lighting, temp, CRI, etc, and while i've seen some awful strobing in bulbs at friends' places, I've never experienced it with bulbs that I've purchased, and outside of the first few years we switched to LED and didn't have LED dimmers installed, haven't seen it at home. I personally think that integrated LED fixtures are a scourge - they require that you replace the entire fixture when the LED inevitably fails (and some of these are spendy fixtures), or in the case of something like can lights, you can't replace just one, because then you're dealing with a situation like the author described that the Met - not quite matching. But having the option of something like a standardized e26 base allows for the user to decide what temp and light quality they want.
