I usually just throw it in the slow cooker with a can of coca cola or root beer. Apple juice is another option.

The last time I did one from Costco I put it in a 9x13 baking dish and put just a little water in the bottom. I then covered it with foil and heated it up in the oven following the cooking directions on the package. It was so moist and delicious. I don't do the glaze either, that way it can be used after to make a pot of beans.

Sorry I meant to say I cook it just until it is heated through probably 45 minutes or so.

Low heat. I have the barbeque pit and I use it as a slow cooker as well. Depending on the size of the ham, low for a couple of hours. With the pop or juice it won't dry out.

I bought a spiral-cut honey baked ham. Left it wrapped in foil, heated it in oven at very low temp, 250. It still came out dry. Next time I'll use the slow cooker and maybe a can of pop.

I always put a can of pineapple and sometimes a little water. Cover and cook. It doesn't take long - you just need to heat it up. It's cooked already.

the instructions that come with a Honey Baked Ham says NOT to heat it. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

If you get one of those big ones again, just cut it according to the cutting directions and put a couple smaller pkgs in the freezer for sandwiches at a later time. I like to thaw it in the refridgerator and again un heated. I think it is much tastier and less salty when served as is.

The last time I bought a Honey Baked Ham the directions said not to heat it as it is already cooked and more het dries it out. So I have gone back to regular bone in hams not already cut in a spiral.
