If you decorate - what is your favorite ornament/decoration?
Is the room you are in now decorated? ~~~We have a living room, breakfast nook, kitchen combination...only the living room is decorated. Have you ever celebrated a friends/family members holiday (you celebrate Christmas, they celebrate Hannukah) ~~~No, never had the opportunity. Have you ever owned an 8\-track or record player? Do you still have it? ~~~I have owned both, but don't have them now.

If you decorate - what is your favorite ornament/decoration?
I haven't decorated in years, but if I ever move back into a real house, I would probably do it at least once again, because I have a big collection of vintage Christmas ornaments, and also a big collection of raccoon Christmas ornaments.

No.

Have you ever celebrated a friends/family members holiday (you celebrate Christmas, they celebrate Hannukah)
No.

Have you ever owned an 8-track or record player? Do you still have it?
Yes, both. My cars used to have 8 track players, but I don't have either one now. My truck has a cassette player and a cd player, and I seldom use it.

Do you have any tattoos? One on my left ankle I got back in 1977, had it redone 20 years later with the same girlfriend that had ours done together originally. Have you ever smoked? Cigs? yes, still do. Pot? Not for a long time, too old to get stoned. When was the last time you went to a bar? About 6 months ago with DH. I used to have a favorite bar that I went to all the time and knew everybody, but don't go anymore. I really enjoyed that time in my life. Have you ever been to a concert? Loooong time ago. Have you ever been back-stage at a concert? No. Have you ever broken any bones? Leg (15 mos. old) Nose (10 years old) Hand (11 years old) Tons of bumps along the way. Happy Sunday all!!

Have you ever eaten at a family restaurant and over heard an argument going on? Not that I can recall Would you ever allow your children to come back home if they needed to? without hesitation Do you have a tendency to tell the same stories over and over? Only the good ones :) What are you passionate about and how do you use that to help others? Crafts, gardening, ...Before my work hours devoured my life I took surplus craft supplies to the local nursing home and went back usually a couple of days a month to help the residents with crafting. When I was a Master Gardener my work partner and I planted a butterfly garden for the same nursing home. We brought interested residents outside to show them how to take care of it. I'll have to say there sure was a lot of red tape and time involved in that last project. I don't know if I would go through that aggravation again. What do you need for happiness? Nice temperature on the back porch, a book, a camera and the flowers and birds in the back yard. It's also nice to have the dogs out there with me. If you hit the lottery today, would you quit your job? I already quit, but if I was still working I would quit that job in a heartbeat. If money doesn't buy happiness , does giving it away bring happiness? It does for the giver and most likely for the person who received it. I'm willing to make anyone here happy. If you want to be a giver, I'll volunteer to be the taker. :)

1. Do you drive the speed limit or drive to keep up with the flow of traffic? I try to keep up with the flow of traffic while maintaining the speed limit as closely as possible. 2. Do you drive over the speed limit IF you are late for work? Only if I'm due to be in a meeting. My boss knows I'll get there when I get there; and that I never hesitate to stay past my official quitting time if there is stuff to be done or an end user who needs help. 3. Do you leave for work in plenty of time so you don't have to speed? No. I leave for work when I'm done getting ready. Again, my boss knows I'll get there eventually... 4. Do you actually read the posted Speed limit signs for a construction zone?? Absolutely. I've been a licensed driver for 43 years, and I've had two speeding tickets. One was sort of legit, and the other was bogus. If I ever get another ticket I want it to be legit, and I wouldn't want to pay extra (fines are doubled in a construction zone), so I definitely pay attention. I always slow down in construction zones...

What is the best bottled water you have ever tried? -It was home bottled, sort of. I was maybe 10, my great aunt Evelyn took us kids on a hike in the mountains around the Shannendoah Valley (where she lived) and showed us a natural spring. We filled dozens of glass bottles with that water. BEST bottled water ever! Never had water like it before or since. And so cold! Also a great childhood memory. ;o) I like bottled spring water, not "purified" water, and probably b/c of that day. When aunt E passed away, I wrote that memory in the card to my uncle. It was just so special to me. I felt like Laura Ingalls Wilder! Do you normally think about yourself before you do others? -Well, no, I am a mom! LOL. I do sometimes think about my family first, before other committments, when it's the right think to do. What is something you must do every single year? It can be anything at all. -Go somewhere by myself, just for the day, on a hike or a long drive. What is one of the worst movies or games you've ever watched or played? -Hm. I'm going with Candyland. I know the kids liked it, but geez I hated to play that game with them! Torturous!

If you decorate - what is your favorite ornament/decoration? I have some rooster ornaments that are my favorites. I got one of them from an ornament swap here a couple of years ago. :-)

Is the room you are in now decorated? nope...not much decorating done this year at all aroind here.

Have you ever celebrated a friends/family members holiday (you celebrate Christmas, they celebrate Hannukah) Yes,in a way. When I was in the 5th and 6th grades there were a lot of Jewish kids at the school where I went. We didn't actually celebrate Hannukah, but we learned a lot about it. That wouldn't happen in today's schools. We keep hearing about how wonderful diversity is, but the diversity being taught seems to be limited.

Have you ever owned an 8-track or record player? Do you still have it? Both, but it's been a long time since I've had them.
