Apron photos (finally)

I got the five aprons (made from men's shirts) finished in time to give them to my daughter and her family for Christmas. By the time I got in the groove, I really enjoyed making them. So I was happy when my son said yesterday, "Where's mine?" I'll be back to the Salvation Army (my shirt source) when weather permits.

Here's the one I made for my daughter from a Chaps shirt.

This one is for her daughter. Note that the pockets coordinate them. The photo angle makes it look as though the pockets are crooked, but they're not.

A week ago I took a break from sewing and painted some martini glasses for my writing group. I haven't done this in awhile, and I made a couple of false starts before I was happy with the results. Each of them got a different color, over-painted with either gold or silver. This one went to an artist, so I used Raw Sienna (with gold).
