I like cranberries, but usually just in the traditional ways. I've decided if Woody who doesn't really like cranberries, likes them, I might also give them a try. :)

You know, the first time I tried craisins, they had just hit the market and they were HORRIBLE. I just used some yesterday in a recipe and they are wonderful. I think I must have gotten a bad batch the first time.

Linda, if you put a bunch of fresh cranberries in a bowl of melted vanilla almond bark and then spread them out in 1's or 2's on parchment paper to set up, they are delish and make a nice little addition to a plate of cookies, something fruity and different. Woody likes THEM, too. (Make sure they're washed and dry and at room temp, of course, or the choc won't stick.)

I really need another dessert so I am going to try these. I love pecans and pecan pie so these should be a good one for us. I noticed when looking at the recipe a link to Pineapple coconut bars that look really good too.

I made the Pecan Triangles for one of our desserts for yesterday's Christmas dinner and everyone loved them!

I just brought all the ingredients for the Cranberry bites and will try and make those this weekend. I will also try the Pineapple coconut recipe - but I just don't know when.
