OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Boy, I am really late. I just got my laptop back today. The 3rd would have been my DH's 81st. So was a bit sad for me. But......I hope you had a really really good day. Kathy

Anele...with all you have going on I am so pleased you found this thread and sent your wishes. Thank you ! DH is a special guy. If it weren't for him I know I wouldn't be meditating and that has led to so much more as far as my piece of mind....which he then benefits from. A win/win situation for sure. I am so glad to hear from you and look forward to news of the new little girl when she arrives. c

WOW! Thank you for the birthday greetings so early in the day!

I will likely spend a few hours working this morning, and I need to work on a last minute gift I am making for DH. Oh, and then I have to go to the mall and exchange something I already bought for him because I thought of something better... *grin* And let's see, we will probably go out to eat Mexican food, and sis ordered me a homemade cocunut cream pie from someone instead of a cake.

So I am set for a great day! (And I already got my first crying spell out of the way early this morning, as this is my first birthday without Mom. *sigh*)

On a happier note, DH gave me my birthday present this morning. I got a new grill! I am the griller at our house, and my other one was worn out!

Thanks again for all of the wishes so early this morning ~ I love you all!

Oh, and you're all invited over for steaks! After 60+ hours of temps below freezing, it's finally supposed to warm up today!
