Christmas With Zachary...pics

Last Friday night, we had our Christmas with Zach and his family. We had such a great time. We bought him Outdoor Challenge for their Wii game. So much fun!!! We feel more and more blessed each time we get together. His parents are just the greatest people!! And we love his little brother just like one of our own too! He is a sweetheart.

Zach is 6 now (can you believe that!!?) and going to kindergarten and doing really well after a bumpy start.

(for those that don't know the story, Zach was born to our DD, and was adopted by his parents. We are all very close and get together about 4 times a year. Zach knows that Caryn is his bio mom, but not sure that he really understands it all)

Great pictures Sandy. Zach looks soooo much like Caryn. I see he hasn't lost any of his teeth yet.

I always get misty eyed at your story and how GREAT you all get along!!!
My hats off to you all for doing the best thing for Zach! What a wonderful bunch of loving caring people! He has the best!!!

Sandy, what wonderful photos! And it must just thrill Zach's parents to know that all your genes are in Zach's blood, he can't HELP but be a great looking kid.

I think Zach looks like all of you, Sandy, you and Dean and Caryn.

He does look like Caryn...but it is so amazing how MUCH he looks like his parents!!! I don't feel right posting their pics, but you would all be simply AMAZED...Caryn and his mother could pass as sisters! The 'sperm donor' (I know some don't like that phrase..but it fits this!) was 6'7" so he will be tall...but his dad is about 6'4", so there again, he fits the family! We were so blessed to have the hand of God making things come together on this whole story, because I don't believe that it just 'happened'!

It is so interesting when we are all together tho...you sure see Nature vs Nurture! lol He leaned over to Caryn this time, and touched her skin and said 'your skin is just like mine'...of course then he just went about what he was doing! Caryn and his mom always smile when he does things like that.

He is really growing up!! I love Zach and Caryn's story - I wish more girls would consider that option.
