YES! I asked for it on that thread but I bet she never saw us asking.
It sounds like something we would love.

Hi guys! Thanks for asking.......it really is good! Hubby was commenting on it again yesterday, saying how much he liked it.
And it's so easy, an extra bonus!

Loaded Potato & Buffalo Chicken Casserole (CookLisaCook blog)

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes ( used a bunch of tenders that I had in the freezer)
8-10 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (I leave the skin on)
1/3 cup olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 TBS. freshly ground pepper
1 TBS. paprika
2 TBS. garlic powder
6 TBS. hot sauce

Topping:

2 c. Fiesta Blend Cheese or a mix of Cheddar & Monterey Jack
1 c. crumbled bacon (I didn't use the bacon, and we didn't miss it)
1 c diced green onion

Preheat oven to 500F In a large bowl mix together the olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder & hot sauce. Add the cubed potatoes and stir to coat.

Spoon the potatoes using a slotted spoon into a cooking spray coated 9 x 13 inch baking dish, leaving behind as much of the olive oil/hot sauce mix as possible. Bake the potatoes for 45-50 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes, until cooked through and crispy & browned on the outside.

While the potatoes are cooking, add the cubed chicken to the bowl with the leftover olive oil/hot sauce mix and stir to coat.

Once the potatoes are fully cooked, remove from the oven and lower the oven temperature to 400F. Top the cooked potatoes with the raw marinated chicken.

In a bowl mix together the cheese, bacon & green onion and top the raw chicken with the cheese mix. Return the casserole to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is bubbly delicious. Serve with extra hot sauce and/or ranch dressing.

Rutabagas are so good, but we don't eat them often because they're so hard to peel. Plus the put that wax on them and that sure doesn't help. My DSis#1 told me an easy way to do it, so I'm sharing. Line a microwave save bowl with two layers of plastic wrap. Put in the rutabaga and cover lightly with more plastic wrap. Cook until you can stick a knife into the middle (she cooked 2 and it took 15 min.). Remove from microwave, let cool until you can handle easily, cut in 1/2 and let rest cut side down until completely cool. Then the peeling comes right off.

Sprinkle with cheese, ham and onions. Beat eggs, milk, pepper and salt; pour over all. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Let set before baking about 30 minutes. Bake, uncovered, at 350* for 55-60 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Jasdip, ? about home made laundry detergent

I use only the powdered homemade version. I make about 2 batches a year and store the powder in clear plastic storage containers that I get bulk nuts in from Costco. It costs me less than a large bottle of Tide for a whole year's worth of laundry -- and I am not having to toss plastic detergent bottles. (They don't recycle them here yet.) I use a 5 ingredient version that works well for my semi-hard water and a front loading washer. It has Oxy-Clean so it keeps my lights bright. It does not leave any white residue on darks, no oil marks on synthetics, does not suds up, and leaves no scent on clothes. I mix the following in a 5 gallon pail. Don't inhale the powder mixture while mixing it up. Store the dry powder in plastic containers. I use only one rounded tablespoon for each load. 1 box Borax 1 box Washing Soda 5 lbs Baking Soda 3 lbs Oxy-Clean (or generic substitute) 1 grated bar of Zote (or two bar Fels Naptha, or two bars Castile Soap) If the soap bar is allowed to dry out in advance, it grates much finer. I cut up the Zote soap in 4 parts to air dry. I use a hand crank rotary Mouli shredder to grind up the soap.
