I love the taste of FOLGERS in an electric perculator.
I have tried many other coffee brands and always go back to Folgers Classic. I also love coffee on an open fire with a non-electric perculator
I think coffee taste much better from a perc.

I LOVE my Bunn, and my Keurig. I drink coffee from the time I get up until I go to bed, could not live without ir.

I'm a one cup a day person, and love my Keurig one cup maker.

Not picky on my coffee, so I buy WalMarts brand. Suits me.

I have a hamilton beach brew station and will never go back to the other type, LOVE the brew station, makes great coffee and so easy. We use only Community Club dark roast coffee, good strong Louisiana coffee.

Another vote for Folgers. I read somewhere that the important thing for a good cup of coffee is to make sure you clean the pot thoroughly otherwise the coffee will be bitter. I also like to add one scoop of Irish cream to the pot.

Love my BUNN and I use Maxwell House French Roast. I use to use Folgers French Roast, then it was almost impossible to find!

I like Folgers's Decaf, but I'd rather drink Dunkin Donuts Decaf if it weren't so much more expensive. I drink too much coffee to drink the Keurig.

I just ordered a Paula Deen percolator because I found a really good deal on it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it or give it away as a gift... thinking I will keep it now.

We like Folgers Black Silk, my brother works for a water company, and has always told me to use bottled water for the coffee, and we do. If I have to use the tap water we can tell a difference in taste.
We have a Cuisinart Grind and Brew, but I stopped using the grind part of it.
Last week I bought my DH a cheap $16 black & Decker for his motor home, and he is really happy with it.
We use coffeemate and Splenda, so none of it probably matters much, LOL

I love Starbucks beans the stronger the better. I like the taste of coffee from Sumatra whatever the brand. If I want something lighter I drink Nabob Summit coffee. I don't like Maxwell House at all. I rarely drink flavoured coffee but if I do it is the Vanilla Hazelnut coffee from Costco. My sister loves the dark roast 8 o'clock coffee. I have a Black and Decker Smart Brew and the American's Test Kitchen rated it as the best coffee maker for under $50. I used to use the Senseo pod coffee maker but put it away after I got bored with it and went back to making coffee by the pot. My other sister loves her Keurig. I don't know why but she seems to buy me a coffee maker every other year for Christmas. I wouldn't mind a Keurig but I am happy with my coffee maker.

We've always used the Black and Decker. The restaurant supply store has a Bunn there that hubby drools over.

There was a coffee guy who wrote an article in the paper and he said the home coffee makers don't get hot enough. You need to have really hot water to make good coffee.

I also have a ceramic filter that our tap water runs through.

We tried Folgers but found it too bitter. We use our standby which is Maxwell House.

We love our Keurig and the favorite coffee is Coffee People's Jet Fuel. A good second is Tree Hugger, also from Coffee People.

I have found my perfect coffee maker in the Cuisinart Grind 'n Brew coffee maker.
Every evening, I fill the grinder with Mocha Java roasted beans, and the water reservoir with just a little over the amount needed to fill my large cup. Then, set the timer.
Each morning, the beans start grinding and then the water is heated and dripped through the basket of grinds, which has a gold filter(I hate paper fibers in my coffee) into a stainless thermo carafe that can keep the coffee warm for up to 1/2 Hr.

My coffee beans are roasted locally at a local coffee shop.

I love truly fresh roasted coffee...spoiled me for any other.

The 'secret' for coffee makers is to have the water hot enough. Then it's just up to you what coffee blend and roast you like. Ideally you'd roast and grind your beans immediately before making coffee, but next best is fresh-ground (plus that hot, hot water). I like a carafe. I don't like anything with a 'hot plate' that continually heats the filled container; the coffee becomes 'battery acid' pretty fast.

Our Krups electrip drip coffeemaker is about 12 years old.

I like 100% Kona coffee, but my Scots genes won't let me use it every day! We use Melita Columbian - Dark Roast. I'll only drink more than one cup if it's Kona brew. It's *mild*.

A friend who was an avid coffee drinker (probably 10 cups per day) developed esophageal cancer. Take it easy, folks.

I like 8 o'clock vanilla. I have a one cup (they call it four cup) Mr. Coffee. You can use your own coffee in the Keurig.

Once all the surfaces that come into contact with the brew is clean, I can't see why a brand name would make a difference in taste. The coffee maker or pot is merely a container in which to heat the brew; The blend of coffee (and the water) is the controlling factor. Naturally occuring minerals in the water can affect coffee taste.

The water temperature and the length of time that the water remains in contact with the grounds makes the difference, Jemdandy.

We have tried many coffeemakers over the years, my absolute favorite is a french press. To me it makes the best coffee. I really disliked my cuisinart grinder/brewer, what a disappointment.

I am another that loves my Keurig. I drink one cup on weekday mornings and probably 2 or 3 on weekends. The cups cost about .33 apiece. I can live with that.
I also love that I can offer hot apple cider, hot chocolate and a wide assortment of teas and coffee to guests. I keep a large variety on hand.
My mother loves when I make her a single glass of flavored iced tea..

I have a Keurig, a Krups with the stainless caraff (sp), a French press, and One of those things you put right on your cup and brew your coffee directly into your mug. I can't remember what they are called. We only drink Pete's coffee with bottled water unless we are using the Us West coasters like our coffee strong.
For me the French press tastes the best or directly brewing into my mug.
The Krups makes an excellent cup but a large pot goes bad so fast. The second cup is never as good as the first. The Keurig is VERY convenient and the water gets really hot. I like it a lot, but the coffee is never strong enough. That and the k-cups aren't biodegradable. That's a LOT of little plastic containers going in the ground.

Oops that should say, unless we are using the Keurig.
