When I left click and copy and insert in the "optional Link URL" box, then name it....it shows up when you preview the post. When I start a thread the box doesn't show up until I click on preview.

I left click on the address.
Right click to COPY it,
then go to a email and PASTE it in. It will be clickable.

Go back and check your "sent" file and see if it is working.

Ok, when you type the address in the email, look at the drop down menu or up top and look for a "Link" symbol.
You will click that and another dropdown will tell you to type in the HTTP address, that should make it clickable or a image clickable.
Keep trying.
Another though, is it a working address? Be sure its typed in correctly.

the very easiest method is if you use firefox get the add on called Copy as HTML link, once you have that great little add on installed you can simply hilight any word or phrase on any page and then right click on that and choose from the list Copy as HTML link, it adds all the proper tags to it and then you just paste that right into your reply here or where ever you wanted to use it and voila it is a click-able link. This is an example, I am going to provide the link to that add on using that add on to create the link.
