Missing rubber stamps

I am beginning to think my resident ghost is hiding my rubber stamps. Not all of them, just the ones I want to use for some of my cards! I bought two the other day, and haven't seen them since. They are no where to be found, and I didn't leave them at the store. I checked. Now I have a different idea using a stamp I have had for several years of a country church. I saw it just a few days ago, and tonight it's gone! George! Please quit hiding my stamps and put them somewhere that I can quickly find them!!!

Tami... who has searched the house and car a dozen times!

I seem to misplace everything now. I can be working in a small area and something is missing every time. It's old age I tell ya!
I hope you find your stamps. Look again, you may just find them this time.

I have been missing a phone for two weeks now. When my Grandson is here, I take them with me while he is napping so that the ringing doesn't wake him. I laid it somewhere and haven't seen it since. Evidently it has been off the cradle long enough that its dead, so calling the house number doesn't help us find it!

Hmmmm, time for St. Anthony! Keep repeating this: Dear St. Anthony, please come around, my stamps(or whatever is lost) are lost and can't be found.
I have tryed this before and it works!!

I blame the ghosts of my dead cat and dog. I think they're messing with my mind. I know they're messing with my cat's mind!

I was at a yard sale two months ago where the lady was selling Stampin' Up inkpads *and* ink for $1 a color. I bought 10 of them. So the other night I was looking through the colors and I only have six. Where are the other four colors? I searched everywhere.

Whoever took your stamps obviously came over here and got four stamp pads plus ink so they could make their own Christmas cards!

    I bet they'll be lovely ... *sigh*

Look for something else, that is what I do. You cannot believe where I found a pair of reading glasses! In a box under some papers.

    They'll turn up in January.

Did you look in your knitting bag/holder, Tami? I work on more than one thing at a time and er......well let's just say stuff in my house turns up in some really odd places :)

Remember that old lady that hangs out at our homes sometimes. She probably took your stamps to make her own Christmas cards.

Please keep her for awhile. She stayed here too long in the summer.

Check your purse and the car and all other packages or purchases that you made that day, maybe you combined bags, Tami. They could have gotten mixed up with larger things.

I think they are probably near the place where you set stuff down when you come in the house. You probably brought them in got distracted and they are there waiting for you.

Check all closets. You may have stashed them away.

    Did you find them Tami?

Well, I still haven't found them. The ones that I lost right after I bought them was the day I was going to knitting group, so Zipper could be closest, but I went thru my bag. Will do so again. Cynic, that's also a possibility, but I want a picture of a mini silver drwarf rabbit carrying off wooden blocks of rubber stamps!!!!

I have been thru all the bags I've brought home in the last month. Only one closet is a possibility, I'll check that, cause it's where I hide presents.

Soxx, that old lady lives here all the time! She could very well have taken them.

Stoney, next time I go to KS, we need to get together! Hope you are close to the SE corner! We could make some beautiful cards together. What a deal! I think a cousing sells but I'm not sure. She's a day care teacher with a little 2 month old boy, so I bet she doesn't have much time for it right now, though.

Jannie, you are probably right. They will turn up when I don't need them anymore.

tami.....have you been repeating that prayer as your looking? :) Sometimes it takes several days or so! I had lost all of the outbuilding keys and was searching for them for two weeks when a friend told me of this prayer so I started repeating it while continuing to look and lo and behold, when I came up from looking in the basement (after the 100th. time), there was the keys on a small table....I had goosebumps as there was NO way I could miss them in that spot for that length of time! Good luck with your stamps!!
