It's wonderful--everyone will love it. I might choose another color for the box at the lower right (I thought I was looking at dark wood), but that's just my individual preference.

The color choice for the bottom is because I'm into the pink and brown theme. Those are the colors of her room and I seem to be migrating to anything pink and brown these days.

I'm going to see how it actually prints at a photo processing place and can adjust it accordingly. I might end up making it lighter but until I get it printed, it's hard to tell what it needs. I also could remove the stripes if it looks too busy.

I really like it but I think the brown box is a little too dark. Can you make it beige? I figure you're making it the colors of her room, but it seems to jump out at me. I'm quite impressed you've already done the work. I think most people wait till the baby's born and then scramble. Good job Steph!

Yes, I could make it more beige...that might work too. The brown does look really dark on the screen but when I print it on my computer it's not as dark.

I'll do a sample print at the photo place with the brown and a beige.

I love it- I do agree with trying to go with a lighter brown though. Not beige but just a lighter shade of dark? Am I making any sense? LOL. It is just adorable and those pics of Grant are just amazing- he is such a big guy now!

I love the brown with the pink. Leave it!!! =8-) You'll never make everyone happy with your colour choices, so just make yourself happy with them. Very nice layout!!! Great job.

I thought the brown looked too dark too, but maybe it will work better if you just changed the lettering there to the pink color instead of the beige?

I wish I could share the color of my favorite sheets: a creamy medium brown. Cafe au lait? Coffee with cream? Something like that.

I would suggest you leave the cap off. Why not show more of her? Don't cover her head!! My DD#2 took her twins to a photographer that specializes in newborns and those babies were naked as jaybirds! So cute-the little tummies and toes were adorable.

I love it, too. JMHO, but I was hoping you could find a cute little hat like that one. Keeps the heat in their little heads and it's really cute. Wish I could sleep as peacefully as Grant and that little girl.

I really like it. I actually like the brown. I'd only make one change and that's putting the B's in "Big Brother" into lowercase. I wonder if that would look better? I'd need to see a comparison. LOL I'm sure you'll be playing with it for a while yet until it's just right. :)

Danielle, it's funny you mention that because I did change the B's to lowercase yesterday after I played around with it a bit more. I dont know why I even made them capital to begin with.

I'd do the pink background with brown lettering and the brown background with pink lettering. -Use the same shades of pink and brown for both sections and it should work well.

Don't know what kind of pictures you plan to use... but the feet are kind of boring, IMO. I'd maybe do a small picture of Grant holding her instead.
