Have been at the 'other' house all week--babysitting the heating system (it's our first really cold snap, and we wanted to make sure it was running properly), and entertaining a few repairmen.

Was looking forward to seeing DH tomorrow after work. He usually gets out relatively early on Friday and can get home, load up the truck with this week's load of furniture and 'stuff' we want to bring, and get here in time for dinner. Then we had plans to go to the Third Friday event in a neighboring town.

Well, he just let me know, that suddenly today, they told him he has to go to the other end of the state tomorrow for a training session. Nothing like a last minute notification! Given the Friday evening traffic, I'm guessing I won't see him until Saturday.

LOL--better remember not to lock the laundry room door (it's an inside door between the laundry room and hall, laundry room has an outside door, so I lock that door for a little extra security) tomorrow night. Last time this happened, he got up early, arrived around 6AM and scared the dickens out of me when I was startled awake hearing someone fumbling around, trying to get the locked door open...... not a good way to wake up! I thought it was the middle of the night and someone was breaking in!
