Good day/Bad day....

We got free tickets to the new James Bond movie. A sneak preview tonight....that's the good part.

I went to Walmart awhile ago....got my shopping done...went out to my car (in the rain) It started right up and quit. It will not run...just keeps starting and quiting. So Denny picked me up and we locked it up and left it there.

He said he'll deal with it tomorrow. Tomorrow will be worse...it is going to be really cold, windy, rainy and snowy.

I think he just needs to have it towed home and wait until a nicer day. I really need a newer car....sigh

Boy, don't you hate car troubles? At least it didn't happen in tomorrow's weather. Good luck! Hope you like the movie.

Lesa, I'm glad that you are recovering and want to thank you for sharing your story. I thought I'd also pass on something about Tylenol. The tylenol bottle warns about taking Tylenol if you drink, but most people don't notice it. Anyway, a co-worker's 26 year old nephew went on an all day canoe float with his friends down a river and drank a lot of beer. When he got home, he had a headache so he took some Tylenol. He went into liver failure and had a liver transplant, but died anyway leaving a wife and 6 month old baby. Although this is rare, apparently it does happen from time to time so be careful taking Tylenol too. Another problem with tylenol is unintentional overdoses. Apparently a safe does of Tylenol is 4 grams in 24 hours but a toxic does is only 7 grams--it doesn't take much to overdose either. Here is a link that might be useful: tylenol dangers

Must be the day for car troubles. I'd taken off this morning for the country house--planning to stay until at least Sunday to get some 'stuff' done there. Got a call from DH at 4:30,, "My truck seems to have lost all it's coolant, so I had to take it to the service station." So I hopped in the car and drove an hour through rush hour traffic to get home so I can take him to work tomorrow morning. Hopefully, the truck won't take long to repair, and we'll be back at the house mid-afternoon (DH is only working 1/2 days this week, since it's his first week back after his last operation.

Hope your car troubles are quickly remedied. Enjoy the movie.

Oh geeze! It is my biggest fear to have car trouble when I am somewhere alone! Hope its running like a top soon Patti.
