Just wanted to say thanks....

for all your good thoughts and prayers for the loss of my husband. It is still hard to believe that he is gone. I am taking it one day at a time. I have my good days and bad days. I thank God for my son, dil and grandchildren. They are what is keeping me from going insane and they will be the ones to help me get through the holidays. My son, DIL and grandchildren will be moving in with me by the end of the year. I would not be able to keep the house if they didn't move in (and I have my parents living downstairs), it is a mother/daughter house. I will be sharing a room with my Granddaughter Paige. I told her (she is only 4 months old), that she is not allowed to cry at night and wake me up (lol).

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Kathy - I get most of my "molds" from the local Dollar Stores. I have a goal of never paying more than a couple of bucks for my "molds". I look for plastic planters, small garbage cans and seasonal merchandise that has interesting designs. I also get "coolers" from where I work that are used to ship perishables. Susan

That's what made the video so neat...because not many people have had the pleasure of being on the property. That video let everyone visualize plumeria heaven on Hawaii and it's keeper... I want to say thank you too. I have never in my life seen so much mail in my little po box. What a joy to open it and see all the familiar names of my friends smiling back at me. I am going to buy some ribbon tomorrow and hand them on my back door. I will take a picture when I get done. I still have cards going out tomorrow. I also ran out of stamps and it snowed here in South Carolina on Friday. So the whole town shut down! Well, not really, but it was a mess and I did not have the right car to be driving in the ice and snow. Hugs to ALL of you. Trish

I am so sorry to hear about your DH, I must have missed your thread.
I think it is a good idea that your son and his family are going to be moving
in with you. I am sure they will keep you busy and your mind occupied.
Please take care of your self and always remember we are here for you.

Glad you aren't alone. Very nice your son and family can move in with you and your parents. Years ago that was the way life worked pretty much--with 3-4 generations living together. You're blessed to get that experience. Enjoy little Paige.

How hard it is to lose a loved one - what a huge disruption!

It turns our life upside down.

Also - the greater the earlier love ... the greater the pain of loss, for many.

I'm sending good thoughts and prayers that the grace of God may be in your heart and life, bringing a sense of peace, of assurance that you will work this through to a new balance in life.
