No new movies to report on, however, since this seems to be evolving into a trip tick I'll jump in. Edna...You will be so close to the D-Day beaches when you make your trip over to Paris that if you have never toured that area you really should do so. Versailles is also a must see. Cameron...Everytime DH and I see a movie or a travel show about Germany we want to hop on a plane so I fully understand your "instant" adventure. Sounds like a wonderful trip. DH and I are planning a trip in May. I'm doing research now on taking VIA Rail Canada from Toronto to Vancouver. We want to see Niagra Falls and then take the train to the west coast of Canada. I have always wanted to go to British Columbia and see Butchart Gardens, Victoria, etc. We are thinking once in BC we will rent a car to tour around and drive south through Oregon and Wash on to CA to see the Napa Valley. Everyone I mentioned the train trip to says they hear it is fabulous. If any of you have ever done the train trip across Canada I'd love to hear from you. Vikki

I was so anxious to contribute our favorites that I missed the decision for Twilight Zones and ,Addams Family. Have a good time celebrating! We will be at an outdoor performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow on Saturday night, but tonight will find me watching Ernest....there's a scene in the movie that cycles through all his many characters, including the Miami matron, that I look forward to every year, and Eartha Kitt is at her scariest in this one :-). Shades sez: "We must have lost ML to her movies. " And that is true. I watched three last night, and went to bed at 3 am. Then my DH called at 9 and woke me up, so I got up and fed the parrots and the dogs. I sat around for a while missing the DH, and thinking about the times previous when I so enjoyed the 4th. My favorite fireworks color was always the purple ones. I can remember watching the show from a boat in St. Andrews Bay at Panama City, We had no fireworks ourselves, but I did burn a spoon full of 151 Rum....."LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE PURPLES!!!" And the years when we boated across Mobile Bay to watch the fireworks show again from the water, and the mad race back to the western shore of the Bay, like leemings about to self destruct jumping off cliffs. And I also remember the hotdogs, potato salad, watermelon,, ice tea and "Killer" lemonade. And my friends. And my DH who always watches the 4th extravaganza which has lost a bit of its drama since the passing of Arthur Fiedler. But DH said to me, "America has been good to me. Of course I am watching this birthday celebration." He reads history nonfiction all the time, but not always able to hear the TV since his hearing is pretty bad. Nothing wrong with my hearing, you betcha. I watched another 3 or maybe 4 shorter movies today. Then I picked blueberries from my neighbor's patch, and sat on the deck after it went into the shade. It was so very still and quiet, with only a stray breeze lightly disturbing the tuned windchime to a faint song. I wish the world was always this peaceful. Peace be with you all today and every day.

As many times as I watch shows relating to Christmas, I can watch them again and again. Polar Express is, by far, one of my top favorite Christmas shows. Thanks again. Donna
