Well if it was definately alive I agree with Kristy that it is probably a fungus gnat larvae, though I've never seen one. That is the only thing I can think of. Do you have the little gnats flying around the dirt on your post? I am going crazy with those things, I mixed up some mosquito dunk water to try and kill the larvae and I am going to spray more often to take care of the adults. If you have a problem with them put a peice of mosquito dunk in your water jug to help kill the larvae when you water, and also putting a layer of sand on the soil keeps them from getting in and laying more eggs. Spray raid or something for the adults. I wish I would have bought a bag of sand to have now.....LOL. Oh well I really like my brugs so I will put up with the bugs. Shawn

Oh no, Richard! You don't--okay you do! What if you really, really soak the area the plant is in and then sort of wiggle it out carefully! Is it THAT close to others that you're sure the roots have intertwined? I think it would be safest not to nip those heads off, as that releases the juices or sap where the virus is spread from. What if you do, what you're thinking, just Round it Up as it sits! Might work! I can't think of that hosta your thinking of, either--the one that is prevalent to the cliffs of Japan, I think it was! It seems, though, that I read about it Mark Zillis' handbook! Good luck in your *assassination* plot! :o) Keep us posted on the results!

I live on the Lakewood side of 6th and Sheridan. We've only been here a few months, but one of the first things we learned from multiple neighbors, was don't count on the cops ever answering a call. They aren't interested in thefts or gunshots in the middle of the night. Consequently, I doubt the culprits here would worry about a camera. I do like the motion activated sprinklers though. At the moment, I moved all pots and planters to the back yard. Which only took two hours. I now have multiple pots on the front porch so that in the dark it still looks the same. What they don't know, is DH rigged up under each pot so that if any are lifted, it triggers a full package of firecrackers. (He has his uses!) I hope is scares the holy you know what out of them!

lol..you sound like me, though I have to say I haven't traced something from a friends house yet but I've done the rest. My friend is redoing her kitchen and she saw some pictures she liked at a store, I think it was Ashley Furniture. She didn't want the pictures but she liked the animals painted on them. She told the man at the store that she did want them but has to approve everything through her husband and could she take a photo of the pictures. Then she calls me and asks me could I paint the animals on some things for her kitchen. I told her I would but she had to buy the pieces to paint on. I still can't believe she did that...lol I won't be making any money on it so I hope it's just balsy and not illegal! I believe if you purchase clipart from pccrafter, you're allowed to use it on handcrafted items to sell. I've bought a couple packages so far. Nightlilly
