Thanks for posting. I just ordered it. I'm not fully into organic gardening, but thought it might have some good ideas. My kids love to read and are interested in gardening. I may have to fight them off.

Notice I ordered for gifts...not for me! Y'all are my "Cooking Light! I got the magazine for a lot of years....but it got to much spa and beauty...so I dropped it. But my DIL loves it....and maybe my daughter would too... For $5 it's cheaper than buying her a margarita at lunch!! Linda C

OK, I just called in our order and Alex, the rep I spoke to this time, isn't quite as 'up' on the system as the woman I spoke to this AM, OR Maire's rep. (NOT to be confused with 'our' alex9179 above!) I even asked him to talk to someone else, as he said starting with the Christmas issue, since we already have the Autumn one, couldn't be done. Whoever he spoke to didn't know EITHER, so he said what they have done is extended our subscriptions by one issue. They will send my buddy and I SIX issues. We'll get the Autumn 2013 one again - no problem - it's a nice little gift for someone - and our subscription will be extended by one issue, so we'll still go through the Autumn issue for 2014. I have let all my subscriptions expire. I had subscribed to my favorite since the early 80s. I would subscribe in three-year increments. I started getting renewal notices after one year. I accidentally renewed, and then had to call the office to get it cleared up and the addition year added to the three I already had. It took all sorts of jumping through hoops. Again, here come more subscription notices. "Lowest price ever," - which was the same price I had always paid. Then the "special price" renewals were coming every month. I called to cancel everything. That sent them into the song-and-dance of not wanting to lose a valuable customer. I told them if I went one year without any mail of any kind from them, I would consider renewing. That did slow down the mail, but I never renewed. I don't like being hounded.
