I'm not Casey, but I see what you mean Patti. I think it is just that a lot of people have exactly 8 points and it probably puts you in the order that you played (or maybe just random) and not by how fast you played. Doesn't really seem fair at this point, but by the end of the month it won't make a difference. That's my explanation anyhow. :-)

Sometimes the name as it is pronounced is "normal," but the parents used a really unusual spelling that makes it difficult for folks to know how to pronounce the name. And sometimes the parents use the normal spelling of "something," but give it an unusual pronunciation, which also makes it difficult for folks. (Like naming a kid Orangejello and pronouncing it oar-ON-zsh-low.)

Oh Cheryl, I'm sorry - this one is finished now; I only realised after I'd posted. The answer turned out to be probably the most well-known/talked about one: multi--tasking. There's a Friday one up somewhere hereabouts, about what dogs are good at.
