I love EOS. It's a huge seller at our store. But I don't use it at work because it's too huge for my pockets. I only use it at home.

I got all of mine at Walmart it is right next to the registers which is very convenient.
I think one of these will last very long. It was cheaper at Walmart than the price on the website. I think it's probably everywhere. I have seen it at kroger and CVS.
Mine is pomegranate raspberry, it tastes good and smells sweet. They make a tangerine that is medicated and one with sunscreen. I didn't know they had so many kinds. Now I want more lol

Olive oil and beeswax are the first two ingredients listed. Really cute packaging. It looks like it would become awkward to apply as it wore down to the wider surface -- unless you spread it with a finger (ick). These products are all ridiculously priced; this is $12/oz.

I've been happy with plain Blistex. The tube is convenient and easy to hold. I don't want a 'flavor'. My tongue would sneak out to get a 'taste', moistening my lips and defeating the purpose of the product!

The cost at Walmart where I got mine is $2.96 for. 25 oz /$11.84oz according to the website.
Wow the Revlon kissable lip balm is $6.84. On Walmart the Burts bees beeswax lip balm is $2.97 for .15 oz or $19.80 /ounce.

That's exactly what they do to me too. My lips peel and I start chewing on them.
I have not been doing that with the eos at all. This is definitely worth it for how well it's working.
I haven't seen the tangerine yet, I will probably have a rainbow of them.
I guess I will have to try their lotion next.

BTW....Costco has a 6 (?) pack, maybe 5, for $9.99. I'm on my second package...great to give to GD and I have those little 'eggs' every where I sit for awhile. (First package was last year before Christmas, and my most used one is kinda like an ice cream cone...in that it is pointy.)

use coconut oil, its all natural and not addictive!

I use a dab of Vaseline.

Avon makes a good one (for me) called Care Deeply. Sometimes you can get it for .99c or less when on sale. It worked great in the High Desert, not sure about here--different climate

All of those affect my lips to make them peel and then the peeled parts make me start to chew on them. That's the unique thing about this eos I have been using it every day several times a day and no peeling at all.
I have coconut oil and do use it for other purposes.

Vaseline I can't use at all on my lips. I do use it on my feet at night sometime.

Two days on Eos and I'm sold. Least expensive at Walmart($2.69), $2.99 at Target - higher priced at Walgreens ($3.49) and CVS ($3.99)... according to websites.

Winter lasts a loooong time here; should pick up a couple of extras on my errand runs.

Both of my children swear by EOS. They both started using them last yr. I need to get me one, but since I am currently boycotting Wal Mart, I am just going to have to wait a little while longer.

Even though I have the humidifier going in this weather, it still gets a bit dry in the house. The missus knits while watching TV; when I go to kiss her good night (I am early and she is late), I have to ground her with a spare knitting needle, otherwise the wrong kind of sparks will fly.

I wear lipgloss daily so don't have a lot of issue with winter chapped lips. If they do feel dry, I've always relied on Blistex lip ointment in the soft squeeze tube (not the chap stick type product) for overnight healing.

DH is out in all kinds of weather (without lip gloss) and he keeps Blistex in his truck. I don't think he would carry anything that looked like the container above ;)

I like those too. I have about 5 different flavors.

I do not have the pomegranate though.

I'm addicted to lip balms, I confess, I'm never more than a few feet from one, although I can sometimes go for 8 hours without applying any. :) My newest favorite one is called Chicken Poop, it's hard to find around here (ya'd think it would be everywhere here, since there are a lot of chicken houses!, ha) but a friend sends it to me sometimes. I use them to fill up my little lip balm containers.

2nd fave is Burt's Bees, the coconut one. Or Chap-Ice, by OraLabs, medicated.

I haven't tried the Eos one because of the shape, not pocket friendly.

I agree with morz8's DH. I usually have Blistex or Chapstick with me throughout the winter. I prefer the Blistex raspberry flavored version but I haven't seen it in the stores in years, partly because I haven't needed to shop for it in about a decade. At some point my wife had a short consulting gig with Wyeth at the ChapStick manufacturing plant in Richmond. In additional to paying her, they also gave her a bag containing about 50 different ChapSticks.

I have eczema and get flare ups on my lips, the only thing that works for me is Dr. Dans CortiBalm. Got it from my dermatologist the first time. Found it in multipacks at Amazon later. Have one with me at all times!

After reading this...I bought some Eos. A couple for myself and for my daughter also.
I haven't ask her how she liked it...but it was a extreme disappointment to me.

I'll stick to Natural Ice original spf15 until something better comes along.

I tried one and I like it, but I dislike the sweet flavoring. I wish they sold it unflavored.

Yesterday for Easter my daughter gave me some Eos hand cream. They make very nice products.

This is the type Blistex that I have been using for years. I like to try new things but I'm always coming back to this one, I really do like it best of any others that I have tried. Carmex eats my lips up, I cannot put that on my lips because I'm so allergic to it!

I've actually been meaning to thank Raven for her Eos recommendation! Even though the sweet flavor took some getting used to, I love the final result of soft, smooth lips day and night. By far, the best lip balm that I've ever used.

I keep one on my night stand and one in a little basket on the side table near my chair in the living room.

I use the same Blistex that arkansas_girl does. Buy them by the 3 pack @ WM and have one in every room within arm's reach and in my purse. It has a 15 SPF and isn't "cakey" like ChapStick.
