Maddie~ Forget about the rant...nhsuzaane is right..We ALL have had rants here. It helps just to type away and press "post"--very theraputic. Plus, let yourself enjoy the support. And now, I'm going to have a little rant of my own... Maddie, On the job...I have no doubt you like (maybe even love) your job, but there is way too much "job" and not enough of you. Start looking for another position. Even if the auditors find you need more manpower, the company still has to find the funds and get the authorization for it; that could take a long, long time. Right now, it's not a priority for them to help you even learn your job...why would they be motivated to get help for any time soon? Start job hunting now. And BTW, you don't have to find a job at what you went to school for---find something you LIKE---what happened to your auctioning dreams? Or real estate? When we toured that KY mansion together, you really impressed me with your vision on property renovation! You would be a gem in the customer service end of a high-end real estate biz! And you know so much about the history of KY! And---you take on WAY too much in all of these jobs you've had. Take some time and find a job that fits YOU. Enough of this Super-Woman-Set-Me-Up-For-Failure-Cr@p. You are a very,very nice person, but you are taking on too much---because you're TOO nice! You do not have to save the company---just find a job, work as hard as you can, follow your job description, and save money for pleasure vacations and retirement, and BE YOURSELF! Maddie, everyone enjoys being around you. I loved every single minute I spent with you. Your humor, your easy smile, your warmth, and your perky red-headed personality should land you whatever job you want. Please ask yourself if what you're doing is really what you want to be doing...or is it just what you trained for and you don't want to "waste" that $ and education. Perhaps this is why you choose jobs that are so difficult. Do you really want to be doing what you're doig??? People change over time and maybe you should think about your OTHER talents and find a "fun" job to do for a while-one that take advantage of your PERKY personality, your persuasive manner, and natural good looks-instead of your brain! There is nothing wrong with *NOT* having a brainy job! Look at meeeeeeeeeeeeee! I CAN FLY! (and feel like Peter Pan half the time!) Sorry this is so long, but I really think you deserve to be happier. It makes me sad to think your employer doesn't appreciate you or give you the type of working experience you deserve. If the last person was miserable and now you're miserable, buy a paper at lunch and start LOOKING for a new job...try looking in the customer service ads...or real estate! Donna, I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well... Hopefully it doesn't linger.... Sue, the weather here is beautiful.... you are going to love it. I think the Food and Wine Festival is still going on at Epcot.... friends who work there harrass me to go with them sometimes, but I worked there when I was 19 and have had enough magic for a lifetime! They call me a 29 year old aunt bea since Id rather be home than go to the parks..... just give me my rocking chair, quilt, cat, and Readers Digest. :o). Are you staying in one of the Disney resorts? If you get a chance to stroll through Downtown Disney one evening, it's a neat place.... Lights everywhere and lots of unique shops and restaurants! You may know this already, but send yourself a text message of which section and row you park in, if you're driving.... the parking lots are massive and it's so easy to lose the car! I work tomorrow, but Ill be slumped back over my machine with my nose to the grindstone (or handwheel!) And the pedal to the metal on Sunday.... Oh, 2 weekends ago when I posted that I was going to see my grandmother, I forgot to update you.... she'd told me she got an old dirty sewing machine at a thrift store for 10 bucks and wanted me to look at it.... I got there and it was an Singer 401A.... my sewing machine friend says it's arguably one of the best Singers ever made because it is gear driven.... slant shake, and ugly as sin! It sewed great and I oiled it up for her... I didn't know what it was until I got back home to my computer and told her what she had.... she was really proud of herself. ;o). We had a few laughs because it zig zagged when I set it on straight stitch and went straight when I had it on zig zag.... we thought it might be possessed. :o) Have a great weekend everyone!

Sam- thank you! love your alnwick mine was a band last year and I planted in the ground instead of potting for a year so it's doing its thing slowly. The mayflower of yours has a vivid lilac pink in that picture! My Fairchild rose gets like that. I really love that color against the green of the leaves. Evelyn looks like its glowing during dusk lighting conditions! It's definitely been diva worthy trying to figure out what type of fertilizer it best benefits from. I think in earlier posts I read that Evelyn like it more on the alkaline side. I didn't get any growth/buds until I pruned back its floppy canes and fertilized with the chickity doo doo, the dr earth and the neptunes. I have a feeling this one is a heavy feeder! (Worse than my golden celebration). I need to bust out some of my compost tea but it's not ready yet.. you started with yours yet? Totoro- I'm not sure what the ph is... haven't sent for ph testing or done the cabbage test. What do you suggest I do for it? I was thinking maybe some neptunes and some banana peels? I'm not really worried about burning roots since I bury the peel just outside drip zone and I've never seen any signs my roses didn't like in. In my sandy soil, organics just disappear so fast! And they gets the worms to come... but if you have any different advice, please do share! Thanks!
