I saw it 11/11/11 11:11:11

was anyone else watching the clock to be sure they saw it?

I called my husband to tell him to stop what he was doing and watch his computer clock.

I wanted to make sure I saw it since it will not be happening again anytime , but you can still catch it tonight at 11:11 pm

those on the West coast still have an opportunity too.

Nope I missed it.
There was an article in the daily paper here. A little boy turning 11 on 11/11/11. He lives at the intersection of 11th Street and 11th Avenue also!! LOL

I wondered about you not posting. Hope it all works out okay. Every two weeks is fine and if I actually finish something, I'd post it with a picture anyway. Finished the Hannukah hanging, see separate post, and finished the crazy quilt blocks but no border yet. Am going on a shop hop this weekend and hope to find a border fabric that meets my spec. I'm working on small Christmas projects and quilting placemats. Next two weeks will be devoted to that plus exploring some of the blocks coming up with next year's birthday swap. My darling grandbaby, INDIA. Who I truly think is the World’s cutest fur kid. Back before her breeder/our friend gave her to DD, India (under a different show name) was the top Tibetan Spaniel in the country for a number of years with 105 first place and best in show ribbons ( that our friend also gave DD). I didn't see it. I was on the phone with my sister. Looked at the clock and noticed it was 11:19. Told her we had missed 11:11, but we were on the phone together and she can remember the date and time as a special bonding time. She appreciates sarcasm.

When elevens come together it has caught my attention for a long time -- don't know why.
