Well Holy Cow...it was another non-elimination leg of the race. What in the heck happened to TK & Rachel? We were playing a game while we watching and I missed how they got so messed up with their flight. They were three hours (?) behind the other teams? I was so happy that Dad and Daughter came in first! He did not yell AND we have not heard about his hernia in at least two weeks...an improvement! They did a good job. Did we all KNOW that the Grandson would get LOST while driving the car in the city? He has gotten lost EVERYTIME directions are involved. But they did a good job. I was a little worried about Grandpa but he made it. And, Nate and Jen. They did better than I thought they would. I would still like them to be the next to go. She is such a brat. Why does she have to whine so much? Nothing is EVER her fault. I hope TK and Rachel are able to get past the speed bump of next week. They are not as strong as I thought they were, but they are nice to eachother and that counts for a lot. They never yell, whine or cry. So, what did all of you think? sooey

I don't mind too much when it's late starting- I turn on 60 Minutes and then wait to see what time it actually starts, then I know how long it will overrun. The show was OK, but why did Dave take the easy part of the hay task and leave his wife to do the hard part? I'd say gravity would make the unloading a lot easier than the stacking part. I'm glad they beat the guys, since they started first and decided to try it first. When he was in the backseat and said they were going the opposite way that they should be going and then he snapped at her question of which way she should have turned, saying "let me be the navigator", I cracked up. He makes no sense sometimes. The underwater task looked super easy. I was laughing my butt off at the preview for the next show, where Rachel and Vanessa were getting into it. Vanessa says something like "yeah, I AM 38, and I still manage to look younger than YOU!" (Which she does, IMO.) Then she says something like "take my advice, get your nose fixed first, THEN your boobs." lol, I'm sorry, but it just hit me funny, they must have been really going at it beforehand for all that to come out. I'm sure we'll see lots of Rachel tears, or at least attempts at tears, as a result.

It's my favorite show, I follow the races and the discussions on a travel forum; but couldn't help stickin' my head in here. As I said to posters on the other forum, I thought I knew who was going to win, but when that van turned into the driveway I wasn't sure! Is it going to be the boys or Meghan and Cheyne???? Very exciting, and I admit I had some tears in my eyes. bigack - I agree, Wayne Newton looks nothing like I remember him. Why didn't he just age gracefully, or maybe it wasn't a pretty site. But then again, he DID look weird tonight.

Their blog was great, very gracious and thankful. My husband and I have been married for 38 years and we bicker back and forth often it is not fighting it is just us being us, in the middle of it we might blow kisses or smooches or say but I love you. All our friends know it and know we are basically just playing with each other. Living together long term as the beekmens have you do things like that, better to let it out than let it build up into something explosive. They were even nice in their descriptions of the evil twins. I personally would never in real life have a friend that would steal from anyone anywhere, and I certainly would not think very highly of them. If those girls were so quick to steal that money in front of a tv cameara being broadcast around the world it lets me know it is not the first time and probably won't be the last. That kind of behavior came very natural to them, only after they thought a minute about it did they basically force the other couple to take part of it by shoving it into their hands. I just won't associate with a thief. I had a so called friend that came to a party at my home, found she had gone into the room with the coats and purses and stole out of the purses. I had to make apologies and feel horrible that now people felt they could not come to my home and feel secure. That was the last time she was in my home or anywhere around me. Had she asked me to borrow money if she needed it that badly I would have. I later found she was doing drugs and was going down a dead end road.
