Sure hope the one with the bad knee holds up and he can make it to the end of the race.

I'm worried about his knee, but also, they will have an extra "chore" since they came in last on the last show.

Thanks, 'bug, for the warning re Betty Corning and instructions re training harlots, lol, cmm (cackling maniacally to myself, more like). I dare only hope Betty C. overwhelms that pot. She looks off to a good start. I noticed in a previous photo of Reed that he and I share the exact same "bed" hair. I've got a maelstrom of cowlicks in the same spot as Reed's. Martie, that's some seed production operation. Sowed in situ in a few gaps this morning 'Triple Purple' orach, 'Gold' orach, and 'Magenta' orach. Love that orach! ornamentally speaking. Temps were up to 87 yesterday. Wish I could send about 17 of those degrees to those in need. Both my mom and dad are battling a flu that refuses to let go...and with the spring cruise coming the end of April. Spent most of Sat. morning trying to decide the best use of nine hours in each port of call, a nice problem to have but feels a bit like The Great Race, dashing through Athens in a day, weighing seeing Florence vs. Pisa vs. the Cinque Terra (voted for the latter). Frankly, a cruise is not my first choice for a vacation, but I am beginning to get a bit excited as it draws near. Perverse that I am, I just wish the ship wasn't so darn lux. A tramp steamer would suit me fine! But this is for my parents, since seeing Greece has been my dad's big dream. Now this flu is threatening to seriously decondition both of them. And my mom has been on V's Airborne... All this cleaning is making me ever more grateful for staying in a thousand sq feet of bungalow with one bathroom. During the day I'm mainly found in the garage-converted office and/or garden anyway. Good to hear Deanne purchased whatever camera equipment she needs since we will all benefit, lol. The Easter basket descriptions sound wonderful. I deposited a small bag of Ghiradelli chocolate caramels on Mitch's desk yesterday, the only real chocolate lover besides me. That was the extent of Easter prep here. Congrats on the happy couple, Eden. Sue, have a marvelous day. Pickle away, Chelone! I hope you have another headache-free day, Woody, that's great news. Yoo-hoo, Brad! Eden's not painting but posting Peep porn! Happy Easter to all.

Lynn - I know I will remember playing in the snow for many years. I love it when my adult children still want to play LOL. A few years ago I came home very late from a Christmas party and DD asked if I would go sledding with her, we did and we laughed so hard - they could probably hear us for miles. My pedometer is the cheapest model I could find from Walmart for $3.83 and not worth any penny of it. The buttons are not recessed at all, so it can accidently be reset. I saw a wide range of them, so I would think you could pick a decent one up for about $10. If you want to try out a cheap one, send me your address and I will ship it off to you. KY Susie - I haven't drummed since last year, but the women's weekend is approaching, so I will be drumming soon. I love broccolini, but we can't always get it by me - very tender and just cook it like you would broccoli. If Lynn, doesn't want my cheapy pedometer, let me know, you can try it out - I just question the accuracy. Marci - my oldest DD still says she is heading to San Diego and my DH get's so upset by it. I don't think it will hit me until she actually does it. It's just an adjustment for you and you will snap out of it. Maddie - that guy knows a good thing when he sees it! I can't remember the last time a guy made a pass at me. Tikanis - glad you got to spend some time at the beach - sounds like it was just what the Dr. ordered. I feel that the appliance breakdowns are behind you, sort of a metaphor for this past year - but now you have come full circle and a lot of good is in store for you. DeeMarie - don't feel guilty about not exercising, you had to get your body healthy first. I did what was suppose to be 10 minutes of ab work this morning, OUCH (and I probably only did half of it). Suzanne - when is this cold spell going to break? I am really beginning to HATE it. I could never do what you do - there is no way I could drag my cold butt out to the barn on these frigid mornings. Is SP taking her supplements any easier? Besh - are you hanging in there - how much more snow did you get clobbered with? Gret - hope you are feeling better. I have a ton of work that is going to keep me in my seat today. Maybe whenever the phone rings, I will walk to another desk to answer it.

A couple teams I can't stand off the beginning like most of the second leg which flew a later flight. I like the guy twins and Brendon and Rachael. I watched them twice in BB and even though she whines, I like her. Don't underestimate her, she won BB and they met there and got engaged. He's going for his PHD. The sisters who lost were just dumb. They goofed up the whole way but would have won if they glanced to the right where Phil was standing. Poor playing. Do not like the country boys. Loud and obnoxious.

I'm happy with the outcome but disappointed in the lack of any real challenge in this leg. Having the leg in LA sure gave one team the advantage. I'm pretty sure the producers knew that both girls lived there for four years and one still does. The whole thing was pretty predictable. I prefer the previous seasons where the last challenge had one sitting at the edge of their seat wondering who would get it done.

Mark and Bopper are my FAVORITES. There are some other individuals that I like, but there's not another team that I would root for.

Without spoiling the ending for me, could you tell me how I can watch the last 20 minutes of the show? We were recording stuff and watching "Race" and fast forwarding it. At 9 o'clock, I was watching Desperate Housewives and was recording the Good Wife and Celebrity Apprentice and and Race was cut off. Is it on Demand?

Just go online and type "The Amazing Race" in the search bar. You'll go right to their website and can watch full episodes there. I do that whenever the show runs late and into another of my favorite programs. Then I go online and watch with no commercials.

I just finished watching it online. As much as I thought the Kentucky guys were goofballs at first, in the end I was rooting for them. I think they were sweet nice guys who'd give you the shirts off their backs. Sorry to see them go. I dislike the border guards a lot now and also Vanessa. So I'm still rooting for the Rachels..either one, but I like R&B. She's a whiner but I still like her. And I would NOT have cut my hair either. No way. next weeks finale looks good. I just LOVE that show. My very favorite one on the air. When I hear that music, all's right with the world.

Hi Kids,

Lily316, you hit the nail on the head re: the KY boys. I really wanted them to win. They were such good sports and such good friends, never a harsh word between them. Now, I am left without a team. Between the teams that are left I guess my fav would have to be the blond Rachel and her husband. The border guys are just jerks, can't stand Vanessa and the other Rachel is just too much for me. Was she a big whiner in the last show she was on?...can't stand it.

So this week we have a two hour final? Did I hear that correctly? Love this show, hate to see it end.

I'm still in mourning over the loss of the Kentucky guys. Does anyone know if the eliminated players get any money? I hope so as I think these guys would be the most grateful, and the most responsible with using it.
