Hi Pug! I did more of a jaw drop and hit the floor when I read the tag actually said Royal Flush! I almost skipped up to the counter to pay swinging both baskets! haha. I told the clerk how special it was to me that I'd found this particular plant. She actually listened. I had my Lowes garden order lady ask special for a basket to come in the next order they got and when she called in the order she was told it wasn't delegated for Oklahoma region yet. So I take it they are releasing RF in certain areas in some kind of orderly way only they know. Sooner or later I guess it will spread out to everywhere though my store has yet to get a 'Ruby Sue' yet! So if not for my trip to CO. who knows when 'Royal Flush' will make it to Oklahoma! Thanks to you I have the 'Ruby Sue' Pug! :-) Any other Coloradians find it at a store near them????,,,,,Debbie

"Black Friday" makes me giggle. My best friend was a department store manager back when that was a snarky thing said by the clerks. The convergence of every work holiday has to have a sale to get them in the doors, with the traditional start of Christmas shopping season, made working on Thanksgiving Friday a nightmare of big crowds, mislabeled one day prices, demanding customers on a mission to score in a hurry to get to the next store, plus pushing and shoving and general lack of nice. Now we have stores promoting Black Friday, and even more, removing all meaning with "Spring Black Friday" and "All Month Long Black Friday" and "Black Friday Any Day Deals". Those 100 only doors open at 6:00 a.m. things are just to get you out of your warm bed and everyone home for the holidays comfort, and in to buy something, anything, since you got up so early for it. I don't play. I get the kind of bonding outings that Katlan and Socks describe. That sounds really nice. Especially if it's not in close crowds and there's room to walk. Our Thanksgiving Friday tradition is to stay home, do jigsaw puzzles, talk, maybe half watch a football game. Perhaps barbecue if the weather is nice. Just generally enjoy an unspoken for day off. :)

I loved them yellow and "over mature" but it to each their own. I enjoyed the fact that they were exactly like a good Valencia but lemon and not orange flavored. But I prefer Valencia over navel any day of the week. Only bloods and cara cara come close to a good Valencia for me. And the ones I had were commercially produced by "ripe-to-you" and i I don't believe it's a lime. At all. A lime is a lemon crossed with c. Micrantha and citron. i believe this is a straight lemon- sweet orange hybrid. Supposedly a navel orange from what I hear.

A lot of the deals are the same that they've been running for days-- but I did pick up a few things from North Face at 30% off and I am going to check out a few others now that I am home from work. Oh, and my sister called to tell me that a sweater I'd bought full price for my niece was 75% off at Macys (it's free people-- so 75% off is a BIG difference in price). I've done super well this year. I have been pleased with my purchases and most of the prices.
