I absolutely love my Keurig. You can buy a part for it that lets you use your own coffee. You just pull out the little thing that the k-cup sits in and replace it with this part that has a reusable filter in it.

There's so many flavors of k-cups, it's hard to choose. But I like the vanilla flavor (can't recall the brand) that I can get from Target. Buying at target is convenient for me so I've found one they have that I like, but otherwise, I really like the Cinnamon Bun (by the donut shop brand) but I have to get that somewhere less convenient for me. I don't reuse my k-cups because I find the flavor isn't as strong after the 1st use.

I love our keurig! I'm not into flavored coffees but adore full bodied dark roasts. Our favorites are both from Coffee People, Jet Fuel and Tree Hugger. I have the k-cup that you fill and was really not impressed with it.

I joined the green mountain cafe club. If you buy 4 or more boxes they ship for free. You can set up a recurring delivery if you like.
This last delivery I got apple cider, hot chocolate, pumpkin spiced coffee and honey lemon tea.

Steph bought me a Keurig a couple of weeks ago. I love it!
I've been using the Green Mountain breakfast blend.
I also found a 'half caf' one that I like if I want a cup in the afternoon.
Around here it is just under $10 for a box of 18 K cups.

Never heard of them. I drink Kava instant, it's easier on my stomach.

Yes I did put new coffee in the K cup. It worked fine. You can also use the press & seal wrap.

I just got off the phone with Keurig and they said that the machine I have will not take any type of filters for you own coffee. Well, I just purchased a EZ cup & filters and they will give me a refund if it doesn't work. I wish I had done more research before buying this motel machine but I do like it since its smaller.

I'll let you know if it works when I get it.

I have the single cup one for my usual one cup per day, and love the good cuppa that it makes. Haven't tried the filter, altho it did come with it. Interesting...reusing cups with foil or wrap. The "waste" of those cups does give me pause (makes we wonder if it isn't bad for the environment). Might try that! Nanny

If you re-use your empty K-cup rinse it out real good, let it dry. Then use 2 sheets of foil or the heavy duty stuff. I found if you have a small circle lid trace it on the foil then cut it out. Overlap the foil just a bit over the K cup and make it taunt. If you have some press & seal you can use that instead. I think you can use the k cup 6-10 times then its time to toss.

I recommend buying the Keurig filter. Love it

We have the Cuisinart (partnered with Keurig) and it takes the K cups. Ours has a very large water reservoir and a 3-year waranty, which are two of the reasons we got the Cuisinart. We love it! I buy the K cups at Bed, Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon or at Kohl's when they have a % off promotion. If you work the sales you can get the K cups for around 40 cents a cup. I won't pay regular price for them because they can be too expensive. I rarely buy them at the grocery store because they're too expensive even if they're on sale. I've used the "your choice" filter piece that comes with the unit, where you use your own coffee and it's okay but not as good as the K cups...somehow it loses something in the translation LOL. I like the Donut Shop coffee from the Coffee People for breakfast and the darker roasts like Newman's Own, Emeril's Big Easy Bold or Green Mountain French Roast when I want a little more kick. We have the Pumpkin Spice and Hazelnut for when we want a flavored coffee. We thought the Pumpkin Spice would be nice at Thanksgiving.

I'm not familiar with the industrial makers. Did you buy it through a commercial restaurant distributor?

I got it at a good price on ebay, like new.

My hubby just puts it back in aS it is, reuses ,he said first cup is too stronge second is good third is better,I saw on tv they now have a little plastic one to put loose coffee in.

I just love my Keurig coffee maker. I too have a cup a day- so it is perfect. The kids love the hot chocolate but Keurig told me that it is a bit harder on the machine since the powder can get stuck in the needles. They advised running a clear cup after to help prevent this.

My long time favorite is Donut Shop by the Coffee People, and now they have a decaf as well. Also enjoy Emeril's Big Bold.
