alisandi, Yes it is Florida. Its called Gemini Springs State Park. It has some amzing trails to walk and critters to watch. It is just outside Daytona and I get to go there once or twice a year. I particularly enjoyed this last visit. I was guided by a red tailed hawk on the way out and a bald eagle on the way back. carol, awsome shot of the orb spinner. One of my favorite spiders. Jodi, Salty Dog Saloon looks like a great place to enjoy a drink a meal and some great conversations. The tower of cars looks more like my sons old matchbox collection than real cars. LOL CT

Susan, I'll post a closeup of my dollar bill tomorrow. I have no idea how they could possibly clean that place. DH and I had dinner this last Sunday night at a place that had every square inch of the walls and ceilings covered in neck ties that had been cut off patrons, 12,689 in all. That too seemed like a challenge to dust. I forgot to mention when I posted today's photo that while visiting the Salty Dawg, I struck up a conversation with an a gal sitting next to me at the bar. She was an Alaskan Inupiat native which is the same tribe my ancestors are from. It was fascinating to me to speak face to face with a native. I say face to face only because a couple years ago a distant relative found my Alaskan heritage web site and contacted me, to which I replied. Because my phone number is at the end of my emails, he and his wife surprised me with a call. We chatted for quite some time and I loved to hear the thick native tongue they spoke in. Jodi-

Linda, thanks--yes, thank heavens, it's 17 miles from my house, which is a little closer than the apartment they moved out of. The house is lovely, and right at the edge of the lake. I'll post another picture tomorrow. And the day after. :-)

Months ago I told Flamey I would start posting photos of our new kitchen. I have at the Kitchens forum but not here. But, DH finally caught me in the act of using my new kitchen, and so this is cause for celebration! LOL

Please note, I have to have a computer and a glass of wine to get through the process. :-)

Oh Jodi...N I C E kitchen! Is that Uba Tuba Granite? Is that Travertine on the walls? Are you making stuffed peppers? I love the little niche behind the cook top. You DO need to share photos!

Thanks for the compliments on my DS. He is very special to me. We are like best friends...and so much alike, it is scary sometimes.

Thanks for sharing your photos every day...everyone. I just love this post and never miss checking it out. It is hard to ever pick a favorite...and comment on them all. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks Vicki. The granite is called Impala Black but it's really a dark gray. The backsplash is called Fire & Ice and is quartzite. Yes, those are (or were) stuffed peppers. I love my little niche too. I'll post another photo of the kitchen today.
