Someone posted here that they love yellow trees. I know that ginko trees can be a striking, brilliant yellow, and there are several near my office. The ones along the street were pretty solidly yellow, but they are small and unimpressive. I've been waiting for the big one across the street to turn. Its an impressively large tree, about 4 feet in diameter and over 150 years old. This is the tree as of this past Friday: Yesterday I could see that it was pretty much the same as above. Today every single leaf is on the ground. Every. Single. One. I had read that ginkos (or at least some ginkos) lose all their leaves in a day, but never quite believed it.

A new pic, taken today....Here's my latest purchases for the new house. Closing on it Monday and doing a whole house remodel. It was built in 1963. (Kohler shower & tub faucet, mirrored curtain rings, ceramic built in soap dish/we're using plain white 4"x4" tile, purchased and sitting in another pile, Keeping the white pedestal sink & cool retro faucet already there). For all you deal shoppers: Soap dish: I paid $1.80 http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Recessed-Shampoo-Soap-Porcelain-White-Glossy-Small/23056957?gpid=18283950120&gpkwd=&goog_pla=1&gclid=CM795IjUhskCFQUGaQodvAwPGg

He was in the Navy. His name was William, and one of the jokes he (reportedly) would often tell is that when the commanders on the the ship would give the order "Fire at Will" he would dive for cover. I can see a strong resemblance between him and my uncle Joe, the youngest of his children.

sabbath7...my boys a cuddle bug...now...but 3 years ago he was a mess when we got him. He's well loved. We're VERY attached to the big guy! He usually sleeps cuddled in the crook of my arm, smashed up against me. At night, he also gives "face hugs", while purring loudly, putting his paws on either side of my face, starring at me. He steals my heart about 20 times a day! Yes, Jackson Galaxy, Cat From Hell. I watch it on Utube! Good info!
