I find that Ashton Kutcher would prolly look a lot better if he got a haircut. That hair, along with the facial hair is a turn off for me.

Now, a guy with long kept hair, that doesn't look greasy usually doesn't get a thought from me... but Ashton..

I prefer short hair on a guy. It looks cleaner.

With women, I like long hair. My hair is fine so I keep it shoulder length. Some women look good with short hair. I don't like big hair.

I don't mind long hair, it is the facial hair I don't like. If it is short and trimmed it's not bad. I don't like kissing hair, but of course that's no problem anymore.

As long as it is clean and neat, I don't care either way. I have a cousin that we ragged on all the time about cutting his. One, his face is thin and the long hair makes it look thinner, two he doesn't keep it pulled back, at least when he's not at work. I'm sure he ties it back there. Two, it was something to bug him about! Then, a couple of years ago when his grandma passed, it was short. I told him how good it looked. He said he had just dontated it to Locks for Love. I will never bug him about it again, even if it is fun to tease him. My son is in the process of growing is for the same reason.

It's all about what becomes the person and what they are comfortable with. I like guys with long hair,naturally bald guys and those who shave their heads if they have a nice shape for it.

I wear by hair plain ,long and straight. it's easier for me and I will never go back to fussing with short or styled hair.

I enjoy seeing young people "play" with their hair...with spikey dos, super short cuts,and color.

The only styles I don't like are mullets on men and the lacquered helmet hair on women.

As you can see, I was a longhair person.....until I got too old for it to be flattering. I miss it! (This pic was taken in 1974.....of course my hair color has aged along with the rest of me.)

I'm not crazy about very long hair on men, although a sleek pony tail can be sexy.

I like it all as long as it's well kept/clean. My only exception is mullets, mohawks and dread locks, I don't like them on males or females.

My mother's comment back in the 60's.

Today I am weary of seeing the same long straight hair on nearly every female on TV. Somehow, to me, it isn't suitable for the newswomen or female senators and congresswomen.

I had a long pony tail in HS and then early on my 20's had short hair briefly..pixie cut. Then after my DD was born and in the swinging 60's , I turned hippie and had really long hair down my back for years. DD had long hair , son had long hair, and so did DH. DD's hair is still long down her back(she has never has short hair), , son and DH have short hair and I have a chin length bob. However GD's BF had braids at TG!! He has facial hair as well as shoulder length hair and we were just talking about how we could transform him in preppy clothes and a haircut and no one would recognize him. He a college kid who looks like he's in a 1968 Woodstock commercial.

Long (bottle) blond hair on women seems to be socially required around here. I see many women who've missed the 'cut off' date for that look (blond or not). When Mom poses with her HS or college-age daughter, and they have the same hair-extension look...really time to let it go, Mom.

I dislike the five o'clock shadow sported by some men. It's prevalent in advertising -- along with gender-confusion. I used to see that on high school boys eager to display their new 'maleness'.

Our DS laughs as DH and I roll our eyes at his various styles of beards. He looks best to me with a haircut and freshly shaven. He and his BIL used to compete for bizarre hair cuts, and lengths, and *colors*.

I like to see people who are well-groomed in styles appropriate to their ages. They're self confident. They don't need to display anything to be noticed. They are past adolescent rebellion.

As long as it is flattering to the face, that is all that matters. I had a neighbor that LOVED her long hair. It was unflattering. Made her LONG face even LONGER... ala Celine Dion (who looks bad in long hair mho lol). She went to a new stylist who cut it about shoulder length in layers that worked beautifullly with her red curls and shape of face. EVERYONE that saw her, strangers too, told her she looked beautiful with that gorgeous hair style. No kidding. Every where we went. it was gorgeous! lol
She hated it. All she wanted was her long hair back. all one length, parted down the middle with no bangs. A lot of the time people think long hair is the only way to go, they like the idea of long hair, even if it doesn't work with their face.

Well since my boys 3 and 4 both have longer hair then my girls I guess I like long hair on guys :) We were at Thanksgiving and my aunt asked who liked the long hair me or Dan when she was looking at my boys, and I said it was them that liked it.

My granddaughter had the hair to die for a few years ago. It was long and naturally streaked blonde..light strands and darker blonde which you could not replicate. She is very fair with huge blue eyes. Her hair was thick and lush and I had hair envy. Fast forward to her senior year in college. Her hair is PLATINUM blonde..all one shade and IMO, she looks like a hooker .

I don't have a preference for either on either sex. I like both and it just depends on the person.

When DH and I got married he was in his early 40's. He wore his hair very neat and trim (short). Just before a haircut it would start to wave and curl, which he hated and I adored.

Conversation revealed that when he was a teen, his dad wouldn't allow him to wear his hair long, and neither did the Army, LOL. I told him that he should do it now if he wanted to. He was delighted. He still keeps it short on top, but has let the rest grow to a length of about 18 inches. Most days he wears it braided, but occasionally he puts it in a ponytail and while it is damp, just twists and wraps it around his fingers and he gets the most gorgeous coil of hair. I am envious. I, on the other hand, don't have a hair on my head that is longer than 3 inches.

Clean, well groomed hair...no matter what the length...is always attractive on any one.

For myself...the shape of my face can carry any length but I was born with thick, naturally curly hair and despite my youthful envy of females with long, luxurious straight hair sigh...I have grown to appreciate my often very short hair styles. I have zero patience for styling procedures and apart from doing my own hair cuts...if I had to spend more than a few seconds making my hair look presentable these days...I'd probably shave it all off and wear a wig. ;-) God truly blessed me in this department!

Don't like long hair on men, or facial hair. Short, medium or long are all fine for women as long as it's not super short. It has to be long enought to run a comb through it. There are many STYLES I don't like. Mostly the wild look. Guess I'm very conservative in many ways....

I love long hair on men and women as long as it's not stringy or extremely unhealthy. I prefer longer hair on myself too.

I love facial hair on men too. I prefer the mountain man look. :)I also like dreadlocks on both sexes.
