Tee shirts and sweatshirts.

Knit tops - I think they are more versatile. I like to look at catalogs to get ideas of things I like - Cold Water Creek, Drapers & Damons & Silhouettes are my favorites lately.

my daily "uniform" is walmart tees...have one in about every color, lol...can't beat that $8-12 price...lol

How casual? Going out for lunch casual, (CJ Banks) or just at home casual (Wal-Mart T-shirts)?

It's between seasons here. In the morning you need warm tops, and by afternoon I like sleeveless tops, to augment with long sleeves again by evening.

I like blouses best this time of the year.

I hate ironing. For me its dressy t-shirts (tops) either long sleeve or short sleeve in nylon or poly/cotton. For really really casual days it's 100% combed cotton t-shirts with a bit more looser fit.

I rarely see anyone wearing a blouse these days even under a business suit.

Wal Mart tees when not wearing scrubs.

Dressy or plain t-shirts 100% cotton. For cooler weather, long sleeve sweat shirts...some dressy, some not.

Another Wal-Mart shopper here. My favs are from there. When I go, I check the sales racks first and have gotten a lot for $3. Yippee!!

I've started buying the knit tops because they are much more versitile and flattering. Tees just make me look even fatter than I am.

Pullover knits of all kinds are all I wear. Big boobs and buttons don't go together. There is always a see through gap between the buttons, or to avoid that, the top must be too big causing shoulder seams to hang halfway between the shoulder and the elbow. Why anyone would want anything more than a c cup is beyond me.

Adella, when shopping online for T's look for the words European cut, Pincess cut, or Fashion cut. They are cut in at the waist a bit and are slimming. Avoid straight cut T's as the puffines looks big and sloppy. Also get T's that end at the wasit OR the newer very long skimming styles. T's that end at the hips look good on no one. Also a T with a bit of Lycra helps it to look good even if you do not wear them tight. Combed cotton T's are are a bit thicker but softer, and less wrinkle-y so they look more tailored and dressy.

I must be the exception,i almost always have on a button down shirt/blouse.I have midriff bulge and now i also have no boobs,so i try not to wear anything that will draw attention to either of those things.Also they told me at the oncologist office that it's easier for them to access my port with a buttoned shirt.
I do wear sweat shirts when it's colder,but i always cut the neckline as i can't stand anything up around my neck.

In the summer, I"m usually wearing disney t-shirts, and in the winter i'm usually wearing disney sweatshirts or other hoodies.

I like them all. I always feel like I look better with a button down blouse (or shirt) with a collar. It's a little dressier.

I like them both but the truth is, Ladies with ample figures, like Glenda and Moi....need to stay away from tight fitting knits. I like knits just because they are so easy care but never one that snugs the body...first of all it would gross out any one that looked at me and I couldn't stand to see people standing on the corner busing a gut laughing at my body...

I like knits 'cause I hate to iron. No tight ones here either. Dont' like the short ones either. I want them to cover my bad parts.

In summer I wear T's, too. Mainly from WM because they wash well and last a long time.

OMG. A typo! I meant to say WAIST not "Also get T's that end at the wasit". I wasn't referring to anybody's 'wasit'.

Senior day at Ross's and I found two blouses and one knit long sleeve (Liz Clairborne, at that ) total was under $18.

I like Land's End, Eddie Bauer and LL Bean for casual tops. I just got a great fitted long sleeve T at the local EB outlet. I prefer tops to be a little long, to the mid-hip, and a little fitted around the bust. The length helps disguise the tummy and the fitted bust distracts (the men at least!) from the tummy. Because I'm busty I can find tops that are fitted (snug but not tight) there that still skim over the tummy because my hips are thin.

Blouses are tough for me. To get them to fit my bust (so the buttons don't gap) they end up being too big in the shoulders and the body is too baggy. The fitted ones don't work because my chest doesn't fit in the darted area correctly. I generally only wear a blouse when I'll be wearing a jacket or cardigan over it.
