How did Dancing With the Stars go?

I've lost interest in the whole thing, but would like to know if Cloris is gonna go and was she her usual?

And who was the best?

The judges were honest tonight about a certain dancer.
I liked the kid from Hannah Monana the ones who danced the jitterbug I think it was.

Cloris was being an idiot as usual. A terrible dance. The woman judge railed her for not being a good dancer, when Toni got booted off last week, who was a much better dancer.

Brooke injured her foot last week and her dancing wasn't up to par either, and they commented on it.

Julianna Hough was diagnosed with endometriosis, and is having her appendix out today, so Edyta will be filling in for her till she comes back.

I has to be Cloris leaving by now, but the voters decide...

Not bad. I didn't freeze any sandwiches (I am still afraid LOL) but I did make the soups and the breakfasts. I need a better recipe for breakfast casserole, mine called for a layer of hash brown patties on the bottom. Good when first made, but dry and spongy after being frozen and reheated. The soups turned out great! I ended up making beef barley, vegetable, chicken rice, and spaghetti soup. Spaghetti soup is really good, take leftover noodles and meat sauce, add water and tomato juice and a little stock, some veggies, and it is kind of like quick minestrone that uses leftovers! I had some borcht already packaged so that made 5 kinds of soup. I still have like three weeks worth of soup! It is nice to have the variety so I don't feel like I am eating the same lunch every day. The only problem is that it takes a lot of containers. So I froze it in baggies, and I have a bowl at work to use. The salads worked out as well, and I am continuing that. The gladware is working the best at keeping the greens nice all week. Tupperware, rubbermaid, and "sucker ware" (you know, margarine tubs, no-name containers, etc.) failed miserably. Funny eh? The cut up veggies need work too, the quality after a couple of days was less than great. Some things dry out (carrots, celery) and other things get slimy (cucumber, green peppers). I'll figure it out eventually! So, any great frozen or make ahead breakfast ideas LOL?

Wow. Dancing with the STARS -- The word "STARS" leaves a whole lot of leeway for interpretation. It used to be that only folks who were in movies or on prime time dramatic television shows were referred to as STARS. A singer or a (gasp!) rodeo cowboy would never be referred to or thought of as a STAR. Personally, I still don't think of a rodeo cowboy, no matter how many events he has won, as a STAR. I don't think of an Olympic gymnast as a STAR -- I think of an Olympic gymnast as an athlete. Maybe we should all write in to ABC and suggest they change the name of the show to "Dancing with Folks who are Well Known Within Their Area of Expertise." For what it's worth, I thought Melissa was, if not THE best, one of the two best dancers tonight. And she only agreed to be on the show on Friday, and didn't get her first rehearsal until Saturday morning. With the exception of Holly Madison, who had FIVE DAYS to rehearse, everyone else had FOUR WEEKS to rehearse.

I think the thing that won it for Donald Driver was the free style dance; especially the fact that it was the last dance the viewers got to see before voting. Tom Bergeron said at one point during the evening that through the first 8 weeks, Katherine had scored more total points than any contestant ever on the show. That should have counted for something, in my opinion. Just as the judges got the final score on the final dance on Tuesday, the final three couples should have earned extra points based on how many points they scored during the season. And considering how Katherine Jenkins was a virtual unknown in the United States until she did this show (she was primarily known only to classical music fans), for her to come in second is, to me, the same as winning (without, of course, the "coveted mirror ball trophy"). I'm really sad to hear that :( I loved the intensity and grace she brought to the dance floor. I'm also going to miss Maks, he was my favorite pro and a cutie too. Yesterday, I read that Helio Castroneves (race car driver that danced with Juliane and won) was arrested for conspiracy and tax evasion. Was brought into the courtroom in cuffs and shackles, plead not guilty and released on $10 million bail. If convicted of all charges he faces a maximum of 35 years.

I saw that Brook didn't do as well as she usually does, but I still think she did great. They rated her lower than Susan Lucci though, and that just wasn't right.

I agree, Brook was much better than Susan Lucci. Susan looks stiff and unsure of herself. I love Warren.

I'm glad Carie Ann finally told Cloris how bad she is. I think it's incredible that an 82 y/o woman can still get out there and TRY to dance - in heels, no less, but it's way past time for her to leave.

Lindyluwho......that was what was going on in my mind when I watched Cloris dance last night. Besides the obvious, that she is awful and its time for her to go......but I admired on how she was doing the "dancing" in high heels!!There was a time when I could do that, but not any more and I'm 10 yrs younger than her. I really liked Micheal Flatley (sp?) as a judge. Dottie

I was ready for Cloris to go weeks ago. And they know she can't do what's required of the participants...that showed last night during the group dance when she just stood back and jiggled a little bit. It's not fair that she's still there not having to do what everyone else does. It's time she goes.

I didnt know that Julienne was having surgery. That should be interesting that Edyta is taking over, especially since Cody and Julienne have learned how to work together, bonded, etc. It's like he's starting over building chemistry with someone new midway through the show.

I actually thought Brooke was still very good last night. I hope she takes it all the way. I'd like to see her win.

Susan Lucci needs to be next to leave after Cloris. She could barely keep up during the group dance. She seems stiff and unsure.

Warren...love him, he's funny!!

Susan......definitely has to go! She is so stiff and non confident at all.
I thought Brook did a great job last nite, as did Michael Flattley.
Can't wait to see HIM dance tonite! I normally don't watch the results.....way too much filler stuff. The ones voted off are always on GMA anyway the next morning.

Cloris is amazing, since she's able to dance in high heels at all. That much I have to give her credit for. But she still interrupts everyone and doesn't even want to try to rehearse. Her poor partner was really ticked with her too.

Every week I hope that it's Cloris' last one, every week she stays. This has to be her last week. I just can't stand her & the fact that she thinks it's so funny doing what she does while everyone else is knocking themselves out trying to get a high score.

I thought Lance and Lacy did a great job last night with their Jive. I am not sure why Keri Ann praises Susan so much, I think she looks too stiff and uncomfortable. I'd like to see her go after Cloris. Even though Cloris annoys me, I do have to give her some appluase when Corky spun her on the floor. She's got guts and stamina that's for sure.

I stopped watching after Rocco was off before Cloris, but my sister called me and told me to watch when Susan Lucci came on. WOW, Susan needs to let nature take it's course and stop with the bo-tox and lipo-suction already! She can barely move her muscles anymore; it's not at all pleasant to watch her. My sis and I were LOL on the phone watching her try to move her face, let alone her body!!

Sorry for those who like her, but I find it so silly that these woman cannot grow older gracefully.

Cloris is vulgar and rude. I couldn't believe they put her on the show...........and keeping her on week after week is truly disgusting....Susan should have gone right after Cloris. Brooke is beautiful and talented. Hope she takes it all.

I quit watching the show after Cloris wasn't the one to leave the second week. I was surprised she wasn't kicked off the first week. I'm not familiar with most of the names of the others. I'm sad that Toni was disqualified. I know she is far more talented than Cloris. Cloris must be blackmailing someone. She is rude, vulgar and obnoxious and the fact that she was even chosen at all amazes me.

Carrie Ann got it right when she said that Toni was a much better dancer and Cloris should have gone before her.

I hope it comes down to Derrek and Brooke vs the football player (is that Warren) and his partner

Do you really think that the producers rely totally on veiwer and judges votes? I'm not being flip, I really wonder about it. I'd like to know the amount of votes that Cloris gets each week. It's not high from the judges, so are there that many fans keeping her there....really?
You're right, judyjay, others are there trying hard, and the "entertainer" is taking up space.
