I wonder why the umpires didn't warn the Red's manager about all those hit batsman. This isn't football. And throwing at a hitter's head is no mistake.

Reds pitchers hit 3 or 4 batters....1 is a slip - 3 or 4 is trying to hurt someone.

Reds are not taking losing well. They didn't give credit to Halliday the other night. Said it was the umpire and Halliday game. We saw the first part and they were losing. Went to Panera and the gym, got home to see all the excitement. I'd give anything to be there. I have been a Phillies fan all my life. My father and grandfather before me always listened and watched them. It's in my DNA.

Lily....it's my mother's side. Both my mother and her mother were avid A's fans, but they moved to KC before I got a chance to see the A's in Shibe Park.
So, I grew up a Phillies fan, although I still treasure grandmom's autographed baseball - signed by all the 1931 A's, including Connie Mack. It's locked up in a secure place, unlike mother's signed Richie Ashburn ball from the 50's and my ball tossed to me from Jim Thome, one of the balls used in the last game played at the Vet.

I have my old seats from the Vet in our sunroom, so - I am a baseball fan and love my Phillies.

Monica..It's my father, but my mother's father who loved the Phillies. That grandfather played minor league ball and was a neighbor to Nellie Fox. We lost or haven't yet found autographed pictures of most of the players in the 1970's era when they came to our local mall. I took the kids, and now my daughter can't find them much to the chagrin of her son who continues the Phillie fever.
