Gasoline's rationed!

Back during World War II - if we didn't have some coupons, we couldn't buy gas ... and it was *scarce*!

Same with sugar, butter, etc. (though, as we took our milk to a cheese factory, we seemed to have less difficulty that many in getting butter).

Now, though, gas is still rationed, though we haven't needed such coupons as I spoke of for over 60 years.

Now ... the ration coupons are called, in our countries, dollar bills (well, in Canada a dollar is a coin ... and you can get less than a litre of gas for one, in most parts of the country).

I think that we'd better start thinking outside of the usual paths, or boxes, as I feel that we have some difficult times ahead, and need to start thinking about the ordinary ways that we live in different and more creative and innovative ways.
